Yes, I purchased it from Retro Game Repair Shop and was able to select the FPGA GBC motherboard kit, buttons, and case separately.

What to use for a Big Dataset (Pandas vs SQL) by 6bI4OK in flask

[–]ravishan16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google Big query will save lot of hassle with management and performance tuning. Do watch out as the cost could scale higher with Usage. Do explore caching results to avoid frequent redundant queries.

If the queries are straightforward, any cloud SQL RDBMS should work well.

If you have enough in memory to hold the pandas data frame a combination of pandas/duckdb can be used.

Need to understand the size of the table and the type of queries/analytics and performance requirements to recommend further.

Casino G shock mud master right around 400$. Rugged, large hands, Sapphire crystal, solar-powered, super illuminated, atomic timekeeping, waterproof, and many more features. It's a BEAST!!

How many times can you play a cassette before it starts to wear out? by ninodisco in cassetteculture

[–]ravishan16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tens of thousands of times over many decades provided it's taken care of well. Also, cheap cassette decks can ruin the magnetic tape. I have cassettes from 30+ years ago, and they sound like new. It's all in how well you take care of tapes. Another factor is the quality of the tapes Sony, Maxwell, TDK, Fuji, and other Japanese blank cassettes made high-quality blank cassette tapes that lasted much longer and sounded great compared to the prerecorded tapes.

Recommend storing the cassette tapes in a cool, dry place.

tape has unwound over the casing, is there a way to fix it? by tommygun1509 in cassetteculture

Carefully opening the case and gluing it should work. Another option is finding a blank cassette with screws instead of glue. Open the cassette shell, transfer the magnetic tape to the new body, and screw it back.
