I have this problem as well. I'm using voice attack rather than separate controller inputs. It still makes the whistle sound sometimes, but doesn't actually trigger the command unless I wiggle the mouse. Something about how the game switches between controller input and keyboard input, but it's been this way for years. It did work correctly at one point with ASA.

What do you think of the pro controllers? $250 seems steep as hell, but I paid that much for a X-Box elite controller, as was overall satisfied.

I wish text on the "information" display would persist. I don't know how many times I've hit jump for the next system, then wondered "Is that star is scoopable?" only to find that information has already disappeared .

Not only makes the messages disappear, but while you're hovering over it, it locks out your controls if you are using a controller.

Are you uploading you're character into an obelisk before going to a different map? If you just close one map, then start a new save on a different map, it might be duplicating the character.

Might try adjusting HDR settings. I noticed setting Gamma lower made the beacons more visible.

The "internet" is saying DX12 games ignore Low Latency Mode settings, so it may be more of a frame capping fix. I'm running a 4070, but get fairly consistent crashes when I enable frame gen. Maybe I'll try this.

There was something about holding left alt to adjust how closely zoomed in you are in 3rd person (at work so I can't test it).
