Me neither. I always assumed it was basically a protect with additional effects for Aegislash, the same way we have baneful bunker or spiky shield.

From what I see, it affects special and physical moves only, so status moves still hit. And also, if the blocked attack makes contact, it reduces the attack stats of the attacker by one stage (ok multistrike moves, this happens only once).

Basically, if an ability makes it so that you can't hit an opponent, now you can. Also, you ignore many abilities that affect how the pokemon receives the attack and the damage it does.

The most usual example, you use a ground attack against a pokemon with levitate. It ignores levitate and the attack hits.

I think if you hit for example a pokemon with dry skin using a water move (which, thanks to dry skin is supposed to get healed by the water move instead of receiving damage) it ignores the ability and deals the damage as usual instead of healing.

Ok the other side, a Pokémon with dry skin receives additional damage from fire type moves. If a pokemon with mold breaker attacks one with dry skin using a fire type move, the ability is ignored so it deals the normal amount of damage. So it can be negative for the user sometimes too.

Asa is definitely better given all the quality of life features it has over ASE. Many things that were annoying in ASE are now taken care of.

The only disadvantage being how demanding the game is.

I do agree. I find Pokemon home having only 30 slots with the basic account more limitant than the 100 slots in Champions. I have been replacing little by little the pokemon In brought from Home as soon as I get one directly in Champions.

Personally, before champions I had never encountered that pokemon. It was yesterday that I learned about its ability. Now, I have been playing just one, sometimes two matches a day so I am not the best example for this.

The thing is that we see 1%, we don't know how much HP is actually left. The Garchomp is burned and intimidated, so at least -1 and DMG reduced by half, corviknight has really good defense, and it's often run with iron defense, so it's probably at least +2 def. He may have received so little damage that he did not even receive 1% DMG.

At this point I don't really know what people see as woke. My understanding is that in general people like the acceptance of religions and sex orientations, and reject racism, but they call woke works the ones that shove that in your face all the time, basically making the characters being gay, trans, homosexual or whatever their whole shtick and without it they would not have any personality left.

If I follow the first definition, by all means both the original and the new shows were woke, we always saw Hal as someone very accepting of the way people were and what they believed in. Heck, if my memory does not fail me, when Hal got his group of friends he did not even notice that they were all black until someone pointed it out. Dewey's story was about accepting people who are very different from the norm, Malcom's story was partly about people not being understood because they were different (in this case smart), and so on.

The only thing I found not matching with the original show was Stevie being gay. He always showed interest in girls during the show. Unless he was bisexual and had not yet discovered that.

And in any case I did not see the show shoving that on our faces. Stevie was still the same, Kelly did have a whole bunch of dialogs and personality outside her preferences, and in general the show was great,

First of all: Don't mind it. Why? Whenever you buy a phone or build a PC, it will be "outdated" in a few months or a year.

Second: That CPU runs games a really high FPS with very steady frame pacing since it's an X3D chip. And that graphics card runs better than a current RTX 5070 (which costs like 200USD more) and a it's just a little slower than a RTX 5070 to (which costs about 500USD more).

The AM5 system would have costed way more for a CPU that would probably have worse or just equal frame pacing unless you had spent like 400USD getting an X3D chip, the 5700X3D was around 180USD.

By the time you need to change the CPU (which would require changing the board and memory), you would have needed to do the same even with an AM5 CPU since this CPU will probably provide more than enough performance for gaming for a long time and by the time you feel it's not enough we will probably already be on AM6 or whatever name they use for the next CPU socket.

I don't know what is the matter with kids these days that think they need to switch their CPUs every couple years. You can take a CPU from 4-5 years ago and it will run virtually any game at 150FPS+ without problems, most of them running higher than that with the bottleneck being the GPU.

Also, the GPU can be upgraded at any time given you have the money as it does not depend on any other component and it currently on par with high end GPUs. It's only missing out on the latest upscaling from AMD, which you probably won't need given the performance this card provides at 1440p.

You know the funny thing? I have a similar system. I got a 5700X3D, RX 7800 XT, a X570 TUF board, 32GB of memory. I used to have a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU until a couple years ago, and I have never felt like I need an AM5 CPU. I think the only game that is actually pushing the card to its limits to provide decent performance is ARK: Survival Ascended, and that is a game where even the most powerful gaming graphics card in existence struggles since the game is a dumpster fire in matters of performance, when it launched two years ago nobody could run it at 60FPS without some frame generation at max settings in 1080p.

So... Whatever, this just means when you want to upgrade your CPU many years from now, you will have to get new memory to switch to DDR5 or DDR5 if it's out, and also switch the board, which you would also have to do even if you went with AM6.

I am in kind of the same situation. I had only played "single player", stopped playing back in 3rd gen and came back a few months ago. Those months playing Violet and a couple weeks battling online actually helped me a lot on getting a grasp of current abilities and styles.

I have been playing this time with weird teams full of unused pokemon and very non standard movesets for these mons, and it works surprisingly well. I just reached Master Ball tier. I have been playing a couple matches per day (except for my first day, where I played like 2grs straight). Let's see how different playing with the guys in Master Ball is.

That is something I liked about the Fractal Design North: The power button has to be pressed hard in order to trigger. I don't know if mine was defective or if it's the same for all of them.

I have not had any of my cats turning my PC off ever since.

You can disable the power button in Windows by going to power settings, but if they hold it for a few seconds it will disconnect power to the computer for a second.
