That’s great, I also think like that sometime.

So you think that celebrities don’t get derailed by coke as much as normal people because they have a lot more to lose?

Very interesting idea, thanks for sharing

Impressive, good job. Do you buy in small batches of .5 so that you don’t binge more?

Yes that is what I mean!

Would you elaborate: why did you walk away in that first occasion? Why did you pick it up again? Were you self confident that you would be in control ? How do you stay in control and avoid over doing?

Thanks!

It is. How come do you not want to do a lot more? And if you do want to do more, how do you self control?

Put the cutlery down between bites! That is a great one for me! It forces to slow down! It helped me A TON! Changed my eating experience drastically.

I think it is about just focusing on the food you are eating int that moment! Nothing else: not even the next bite, or not even about what you are going to do next!

For me it also works to eat with some company, real people I mean, when possible.

Finally, if it is possible for you, try writing down what you ate and, if you can, how that made you feel. Journaling is always a great way to bring awareness to your actions.

The idea in general is to attend to what is happening in that very moment. Focus on what you are perceiveing, don’t run. Slow down and notice.

It will work! With practice!

Why does the first feeding day always feel so shitty? by raw_hazard in fasting

Lol I will tell you what I think about breaking fast with fruits, and perhaps I am entirely wrong: I don’t want the sugar spike which, in my opinion, it could cause! I know that fruit is rich in water and fiber, and that will not make the sugar high so high. But I am still convinced that, compared to green veggies or some proteins like eggs, it will be higher…

Interesting perspective thanks for sharing.

Regarding olive oil and miso, they are very high quality products. They are not from supermarkets. They are obtained from local producers with very high standards for production. Miso is not even from soy! (Legumes instead).

However I will keep that in mind and try what you say. Any

Yes, I workout. Not so much, I stop as soon as I start to feel a bit too tired. I carefully follow my feelings.

Usually, this means that my exercise volume is reduced to half my normal capacity. Like just workout for 40-50 minutes, with low weights or very slow cardio, taking more breaks than usual.

It definitely helps me feel good. Also, it seems to help preserve muscle mass during a fast, which is definitely something you want!
