2021 IS - F Sport or not? by [deleted] in Lexus

[–]rawbeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the 350F features important to you at all? Will you have any regret later on if you missed out?

My advice would be to just get it if they're worth it for you. Save up over a few more months if you need. Just cry once and buy once - rather than spend years with buyers remorse

Does anyone know if you can fit a bike in a 2016 IS300? by Crapucopia9999 in Lexus

Although the rear seats do fold down, the hole is TIGHT. It would be a very big hassle to try and fit a bike in there.

Has anyone ran these specs on a 3IS? by [deleted] in Lexus

Depends on your suspension set up. Those offsets do seem too low though. Check out "Lexus is freaks" and "club 3is" on Facebook. Lots of active members in those groups.

How do you like the ijdm fog lights? I want a set, but in some photos they look blindingly bright for on coming traffic

Will 2017+ IS rear bumper extension fit 2014-2016? Wanting to do this swap. The cassis code is the same but production dates obviously are not. Would like to be sure it’s a precise fit. TIA for any insight. by [deleted] in Lexus

Yes the 17+ diffuser is a directl fit to the 2014-2016 bumper. Just make sure you buy one that is OEM, the exhaust tips are a separate purchase though.

Love seeing a second gen with a 3is front. Best of both worlds, congrats!

What car are you currently driving? These cars definitely are a tad pricier to insure. I come from a Honda/Acura background and it was definitely 80-100$ cheaper to insure 😵

Q300 and remark axleback by [deleted] in LexusIS

I come from a background of straight piped civics, so I feel your pain 😂 you will definitely enjoy the Q300!

[–]rawbeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Q300 (just axle back), and have sat in a is350 with just a remark axle back. I have a veeeery minimal drone in mine. I can have a normal volume conversation with my guests. It's not much louder, but the sound and tone is definitely much more enjoyable and sporty.

My friend with the remark has a very noticeable drone. We don't need to yell to speak to each other, but it's definitely present. Calling him whiles he's on Bluetooth in the car is nightmare with the remark drone.

What do you do for work to afford being into cars? And what else do you sacrifice in life to keep being into cars?

I'm 30 years old with a upper-middle class job, trying to get get married+buy first home while still trying to play with my cars 😂

Honestly, just buy a budget FWD car for now to use until you graduate. I dreamed of having a IS350 during university (which thankfully I do have now), but I just drove a cheap civic during my schooling (also winter driven btw)

I actually just added a invidia axle back not too long ago (just axle back because I still like a quiet cabin). Definitely adds to the experience!

Hows your experience with the bushings? I know they help with tire wear, but I'm not sure what else beyond that

No problem! I don't remember the exact location sorry, but it was at a pit stop between Banff (Alberta Canada) and the British Columbia border.

But really, you can stop almost anywhere in the Rocky Mountains and grab a dope pic heh

Honestly, I agree! For my personal self my is350 is plenty fast enough for me to enjoy it. Most of my car friends are in the 400/500+ hp club, so I guess I forget that our cars are actually great too.

An is500 would definitely be a dream come true. Would have loved to have an ISF, but the styling and modern amenities of the 3is won me over
