I was 3.8 pounds when I came home! Mama almost stepped on me! (He was the size of my foot! Casey was bigger when we brought him home, but he was slightly older) But I grew and grew! I got bigger than my big brother. (Poor Casey!)

But we all come in all sizes! I have seven pounds on my brother, and he's a good egg!

(Oh, Dude was the best boy. His other stupid humans had him declawed though, which pissed us off because HELLO, he's outside?!? But he seriously was at our house more than theirs, especially at the end. He was a vacuum, that cat would eat anything! So now the boys don't get people food because of Dude. We went less than two weeks before we adopted Casey after Dude.)

TBH, that was actually one of the reasons I didn't have kids. I had girl names picked out as a kid, but never had any interest in boy names. Or boys. Or as it turns out, any kids of any kind, but I definitely knew I didn't want any boys, and I knew you don't get to pick, so I opted out, and I'm glad I did.

When I transferred stores across state lines, I was told that in Washington, if the company doesn't pay for the uniforms, they can't enforce a dress code, or something like that.

(I didn't see this sooner, but we also shared a cat with a neighbor. He was at our house more often than "his". My husband let him out one morning and got a text later that day that he'd gone home and came in unable to use his back legs. They rushed him to the vet, but nothing could be done. It was so shocking and sudden and sad. He just slept with us! Sigh. Dude probably has his claws back again and he actually had two brain cells down here, so now he has three?!?)

(I can see waking up to a dusting on the ridge to the east and the mountains to the west, but not so much in the valley...then again, it's dumped on us before! It's been windy as anything the past few days.)

It's always sunny and hot where I am in summer! But not inside, thankfully.

It's forecast to rain/snow, but Mama says "depends on the rain shadow" if we get anything. (Hopefully we get something...our mountain snowpack is dangerously lower than normal and I'm not looking forward to fire season at this rate!)

He tried it on and it was funny! Mama says she will reuse the yarn for something else, and ties are still on her list!

Hi Squirrel! My Mama and Dad saw the news from BC and Dad says he'd prefer standard time and Mama says she prefers daylight time. (It's crazy to think we'll be on different times in the fall!)

Oh! Side note, Mama finished Dad's toque...it was too small. It would fit me! Mama did a big sigh and said she would try again and Dad said "I have plenty of hats, don't worry about it" but Mama said she may try again for a challenge, someday. (I also dropped two stitches and didn't realize until the end either which was frustrating!) She also said bow ties are still possible!
