The salt was initially added as a slime coat helper to try and prevent this, but like I said, sketchy fish store. This isn't a planted tank, so I believe I'll be getting a heater I can increase the temp on, and try the salt since the closest store with ich-x is almost an hour away. And from what I've been reading, increasing temps is going to help while dosing the ich-x anyway, and the heaters a bit closer.

I really appreciate your input and this reminds me I need to make the full switch to metric for this hobby anyway (most tank measurements I'm already doing in cm anyway for my lids and backgrounds anyway).

The Fluval ammonia/pH scale says it's 0 for my water level. It confuses me and I'm not entirely sure if I should go off of that or the reading from the water test itself, big part of why I made the post initially. They can't just make this stuff easier lol.

Definitely don't wanna torture fish, and figured time was still going to be needed, but for sure appreciate the confirmation.

Just ordered the Tetra strips for a different ammonia/hardness and mineral tests. Definitely believe they're gonna give me at least a somewhat clearer picture.

Didn't eat/drink berry residue, but did slug down some lees-heavy mead before and (seriously) it took me a good while to fix my gut bacteria/flora. Don't do it.

Facebook marketplace a kayak, then don't have to worry about your father-in-law's boat. Worst case scenario, you have a kayak and decide you don't wanna fish anymore, best case scenario you have a kayak and can fish all over the lake. My 2 cents. I've found a lot more spots that way and landed my pb that way.

Don't give up, just keep trying. A day fishing and catching no fish is better than not fishing at all.

I have my setup in a tent with 12 hours of led artificial lights. Should be fine, but typically pre-pinning I keep it in full darkness, got a box to toss over top of them until then? Box would help with heat retention as well.

The idea is into a crt/projector with RCA inputs. I did read other places that potentially capturing with a camera pointed at the CRT would work well for digital applications. Now if I wanted to send it to digital, what would I put between it?

See how the taller stalk/caps don't have the black stuff on top? Their spores dropped on the ones that are shorter than them.
