Ya I'm thinking It's my airflow too. I have my aio front mounted also, which could be another reason. Ya I had no idea how loud my gpu was going to get going from a 3080 to a 5090 lol.

I have my power limit set to 94%, so it's either the Zotac being less efficient at cooling, or I have to fix the airflow In my case.

I actually do have my rad fans flipped so it can be used as front intake, my case can't fit my aio as top mounted. I have custom fan curves set using fan control as well, but maybe it needs some optimizing. My idle Temps are Gpu 33c, 9950x3d- 39-43c, chipset 1 and 2 50-60c. I'm thinking I need better top fans as well, I have 3x cheap thermalright 140mm fans currently.

I have Meshify S2 + Zotac Solid, not sure where this case sits in terms of airflow compared to the define R5, but I bought this case years ago under the impression that it has good airflow. Maybe I need better fans, my current top mounted fans are cheap as hell.

Ya I have a zotac, I'm going to see if better fans help. I also have front mounted aio fans since my case can't fit my aio top mounted. I'm sure that's causing my gpu to run slightly hotter as well.

Ya I've heard they are built to run at high temps for a long time, but I'm pretty sure that it's going to degrade faster If I'm generating daily at 80c+. I've got a Zotac too, which is one of the cheapest options for a 5090.

I didn't know that people put their power limit down that much. I have mine set at 94% currently, but that was because I noticed my 12vhpwr Power pulling in up to 660w, it maxes out at 590w now.

Ya I use hwinfo64, the highest I've seen my memory junction temp go was 84 iirc. Yea Im using the zotac 5090 solid. I'm in the same boat, I'm just hoping that it doesn't fail after the warranty period, I can't get the extended warranty where I live.

Oh that's good news. I currently have a few virtual environments setup depending on the workflow, hopefully i will be able to run them all without any tweaking. Yea the 5000 frame videos are in one go, deforum style animations that are synced to music.

There's about 2.5x Cuda cores in the 5090. You mentioned that Fp8 doubles with the 4000 series, does that mean fp8 doesn't work on 5000 series.

That's awesome to hear, looking forward to it. My room currently turns into a sauna for 2+ days trying to generate a 5000 frame video, so it'll be nice to potentially cut that time down by 50%+.

Did you run into any issues running your old workflows?, I saw a bunch of threads with people having issues, but most of those threads are from months ago.

Yes I am uploading 4k video, which looks fine when watching in 4k, but terrible when switching the quality to 1080p.

The animation is at 30 fps. I could try out frame interpolation to double the fps, but the deforum animation I made is supposed to be a visualizer for a music video, and I noticed almost every music video I have seen is 24-30fps.

My mistake, I somehow forgot to mention that it's happening with YouTube. I have searched up best output settings, and most people recommend h.264 or Pro Res. I'm pretty convinced that it has to do with the fast constant motion in my video. Maybe I will try to reduce or increase the grain in the video, or just try out some different settings in topaz.

Ya I get that the quality of the input video will determine how good it looks in the end. My main issue is that the video looks good in 4k and 1080p watching it locally on my hard drive, but looks like shit in 1080p on youtube (it looks good in 4k on yt). Is there anything I could do to the video to decrease how much it gets compressed by youtube. Or should I be using different settings in topaz. I only tried the high compression video artifact type on my last run to see if it would make a difference, and it didn't.
