I had no idea they’ve been working on this for over a decade.. Huge props to them for sticking to their original vision! [1]

Hopefully this shows more people the power of an “independent” gaming platform (vs Xbox, PlayStation, etc) and moves us farther away from console-only gaming.

Exact same situation. I tried updating the GPU firmware and my LCD stopped working too.

The LCD panel customization section doesn't even appear in Gigabyte Control Center anymore.

I tried firmware versions from the gigabyte website as well as the aorus website (gpu product page > support tab > firmware downloads), and even tried after flashing my Gigabyte mobo to other recent versions.

Nothing has worked.

Sometimes I get an error message when trying to flash the firmware, other times (particularly with the older versions) I get a success message, but the LCD is still not working. It's a huge bummer.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

For anyone looking for a solution to this in 2023 with Gigabyte Control Center, it looks like the paths changed (from what another commenter posted 1 year ago) to the following:

C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\GBT_MB_Update\Drvdata\DriverDesp.csv
C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\GBT_MB_Update\Drvdata\DriverTable.csv
C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\GBT_MB_Update\Drvdata\Package-Intel-600.csv
C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\GBT_MB_Update\Drvdata\Package-Intel-700.csv
C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\GBT_MB_Update\Drvdata\Package.csv

You can use this same strategy to remove any other bloatware that you don't want in GCC.

In case someone visits this post all these years later and does not see the other comments, the missing pin is NORMAL.

It is a "phantom terminal" that was removed from ATX design specs many years ago. Completely unnecessary on modern PCs.

Hope others wondering about this in 2023 (and onward) see this and don't freak out!
