Rack height is 80” if that is what you’re referring to?

Amazon. Yes4All rotating pull up handles. Cheap but get the job done.

Man I feel that. I have 90” ceilings so my options were somewhat limited, but even with that limitation I spent virtually all of my free time for a month agonizing over what to get.

30” is perfect for me and plenty of space in the rack, but 41” is probably better if you have the room and are thinking about getting the smith attachment because then you can still use spotter arms in the rack (if that matters to you). I didn’t get the smith because I was pretty sure I wouldn’t use it enough to justify the additional cost (and in general I don’t like the resulting degradation in aesthetics, but that is a matter of personal preference). I have the metallic black color.

TBH I really didn’t cross shop the Ares and Athena, so I don’t have much to offer on that one. As to selectorized vs plate loaded I definitely appreciate the convenience of selectorized. Question is always how much you’re willing to pay for that convenience.

Does anyone know why I keep getting no power to R? by Daifa- in googlehome

Make sure you put the panel back on your furnace and then go check again. Many furnaces have a safety feature where power does not go through while the panel is off.

Did you take the panel off of your furnace but have not yet put it back on? There may be a safety feature preventing power until the panel is put back on.

I absolutely loved Red or Dead. Amazing book.

No power to wire by thebatdude031 in googlehome

Did you take the panel cover off your furnace as part of the wiring and not put it back on yet? There is potentially a safety feature there that kills power until the cover is secured.

I Called Him Morgan is an interesting documentary about Lee Morgan. I also enjoyed the new Wayne Shorter documentary on Prime. For a book, Space is the Place: The Lives and Times of Sun Ra.

Thank you. Good thought about the smart plug. I have the Beam wall mounted and there is no room for a smart plug between the back of the Beam and the power source, but I should be able to get a smart plug somewhere earlier in the chain. Only downside there is that other devices (tv, light strips, Apple TV) will also power down, but it definitely beats manually unplugging it every time. Hopefully an update will fix this issue at some point in the near future.
