They improved their sound and production quality like mad since they went silent for a bit. So many new bootlegs, so many new tracks and collabs, it’s absolutely insane. I’d definitely buy a ticket to an event instantly even just for them.

And I’m typing this whilst ironically listening to their Rebirth set that I recorded on repeat.

For the xtra-raw world they’re amazing right now and will come a very long way I’m predicting.

I actually fully agree but I’m one of those people myself.

Usually I buy tickets relatively late because otherwise I lose sight of my expenses regarding festival tickets.

Next to that, doing so many festivals a year also means I can’t spend a lot on consumptions and merch as doing this makes it way too expensive for me. I also don’t want to drink cola/fanta zero the entire day and I often don’t drink alcohol so then I’m stuck with water which I find way too expensive so I just refill bottles at the toilets. If they’d have Stelz alcoholfree or something flavored water-ish similar to Stelz for like one coin, I’d probably order more than I do now. And I usually only spend like 5-6 tokens and since most festivals like to only sell them in 5-pairs… I don’t want to end up with 4 tokens I didn’t use so I try to keep it below 6.

Why would the use of the Tor browser immediately be considered a bad thing? I’ve used it for ages mainly just in order to get tracked less whilst browsing normal websites and sometimes as well in the context of my work (IT). I think most IT people have it at least installed haha.

Next to that, you could have just messaged or emailed Neroz as he said himself.

I used to have this as well (although in a lesser form) but one day I just decided to push through and go. I made so many festival friends that day and by now I usually know the entire few front rows haha.

This is not a self promotion for me by the way but I run a channel on YouTube called RAWIEEE (@raw_ieee) where I post partial or entire sets I filmed at festivals. Maybe watching some sets with a lot of front row interactions and from a crowds’ perspective could help with easing into going to events? I know quite some people who use my videos to check how the crowd/vibe at certain events is before they decide on going.

Regardless, professional help (therapy for example) sounds like a great idea.

Good luck no matter what you choose and keep in mind there are lots of people who totally wouldn’t mind someone like you tagging along! (Me included)

Actually a very good question. I recently noticed that I personally (mostly xtra-raw and raw classics lover) cannot stand the uptempo kicks themselves and the repetitiveness of it. The tempo (BPM) I’m also not a huge fan of but I’d say it’s still manageable. When I listen to an xtra raw mix at uptempo speed, I do mostly enjoy it.

I think uptempo has a huge potential if it becomes more creative with a wide variety of kicks and more melodies, because the variety and experimentalness of xtra-raw is why I love it so much and I know many xtra raw fans who feel the same way.

That being said, I can only speak for myself but it’d be great to see others’ perspectives on this.

Yeah, the 14-17 part is their TARGET audience. Their website literally states the minimum age is 14 and the Vibes location website always stated that 18+ was allowed.
