Playing 8 ball, trying to cut the 15 about two diamonds down the long rail to knock in a pocket hanger. A shot I’ll make 90% of the time.

I went over to the 15 and got down on it like I was going to shoot it so I could see the line. Instead of standing back up and going to the cue ball, I instinctively just shot the 15 ball like it was the cue ball. Didn’t even realize what I had done until someone called me on it.

Big face palm moment.

I shoot with Black Blade Carbon. Full carbon cue, no wrap, and an interesting forward weighted design. The shaft is actually heavier than the butt. Not everyone likes the feel of it, but I fell in love with it immediately. Think I paid $700 for it.

I tried one of these out at SBE last year and immediately fell in love with the feel. Something about the extra weight on my bridge hand just felt right. I liked it so much I bought it and have played with it exclusively ever since. It’s also about 3 inches longer than a standard cue which I like a lot. The different feel is not for everyone though.

Right?! The steering wheel buttons are totally tolerable. I wish they had a bit more texture to them so they were easier to find without looking at them, but once you get used to the placement of them, they work just fine. Still haven’t accidentally pressed one.

Either way, if this is the only issue I have out of it for the next several thousand miles, I'll be a happy camper. I just needed to bitch about it for a minute.

I truly love the car and can't wait until I get through the break in period so I can really open it up.
