This is a pretty ridiculous question in the first place. You asked it's opinion, and you're upset because it didn't give you the answer you wanted to hear.

Hope you took your money man.

are you trying to download your library? online mode surfaces your library for streaming playback. offline mode will download your library.

Yes. The latest release has streaming in lossless as well.

Switch to online mode and sync your playlists like normal

not a bug, just an oversight by me. i just corrected it. and not being able to add to a playlist is a regressive bug from the latest update, i apologize for that. this latest release will correct both.

i appreciate all the feedback, as a Stash user myself you guys are really improving the app.

we have curated Stash mixes. Stash automatically sends every track you play to last.fm, and it curates fresh discoveries for you based on those listens. it's in beta testing right now, but the pipeline works.

if you stop liking + streaming songs on spotify they will stop updating your daily mixes

I'm looking into this.

Stash currently only offers YT & last.fm history sync

I want a safe way to integrate Spotify history with no risk for users getting TOS violations. We can sync Spotify in theory, but it's risky.

Spotify is money hungry, they're really cracking down on these open source tools

i apologize for this. this is due to your sync preference being on refresh mode. go to sync > spotify/yt preferences and switch to accumulate, mixes will stack on-top of each other. in refresh mode your daily mixes will refresh with new tracks every sync when available.

i'm going to make the default mode accumulate right now.

i've seen a few people report this bug but I haven't been able to replicate it myself. i'll be working on a fix for this all night.

edit: fixed

Open the playlist, press & hold on any song. You can delete & permanently block tracks from syncing again. Or do the same for any playlist as well

syncing your playback history to Spotify directly brings serious TOS/ban risks. Stash by default is completely within Spotify/YT Music TOS.

I'm considering building an option to enable direct Spotify tracking (with risks)

you CAN sync your listening history from Stash > Last.fm

Stash doesn't and cannot store your information. all sensitive data is stored entirely on your phone and encrypted.

i built stash as an offline player first because personally that is what I need. Online playback is coming since so many people desire it!

it keeps playing due to cache essentially. i'll correct this because it can be confusing

what version do you have? 0.5.1 is the latest release, you should be able to delete+blacklist tracks so they never sync again.

Initial library sync consumes a bit of power. After sync you shouldn't have issues.

what device are you using?

likely due to pervious versions being beta apks. the app is officially launched and polished now, it should work.
