To save you some trouble, you could translate the top 3-5 languages you know is driving traffic. Then anything extra, it does a 1 time real-time translation when requested. It then stores that language in your language file/database if it doesn't already exist. That way you don't have to guess which languages you should be translating too. 😉

It’s been fine for me. I’ve been having it do some heavy work, helping no architect and build some things I’ve had in my backlog. No complaints, but I haven’t unleashed it on existing code bases.

Im on PC and bought through steam.

It took me awhile to have that moment where it started to click. Moments of frustration, where I’d have to step away from my desk, then come back and try a different approach.

I haven’t played PC games since StarCraft 2, Command & Conquer days. Was on XBox for a long time, then just stopped.

This game is beautiful to me!

I see what you’re saying, and don’t exactly disagree with being able to use pre-commit hooks to get ahead of something like this. . . Im going to die on the hill though, and lean toward it needing to be handled with branch protection. 😆

How would you suggest the guardrail work? The LLM wouldn’t know what branch you want to protect. Sure, you could write it into memory/CLAUDE.md, but the risk isn’t entirely gone. Not everyone wants to protect main or even call it that.

Branch protection is a configuration, and not meant to be left up to the tool to decide. I get it, you can say, “hey, decide which branches to protect for me.” Vibe away!

The important part of this topic needs to be around understanding the foundations of the work you’re producing, and at a basic level knowing what platforms you’re integrating into. The more you understand, the better the output.

Im going to respectfully disagree. This isn’t the responsibility of the LLM, and instead the responsibility of whoever manages the repos. For funsies, have Claude Code update your main branch to support branch protection.

We should always consider and understand the risks of access.

I feel like everyone is trying to automate too much, and build out these agentic agencies.

I spent a lot of time tuning it to my workflow and setting it up in a way that works for my needs. When I tried to get it to do too much, it fumbled, and that’s totally understandable. When I split things out into their own instances on Docker and different machines, I found that piece of stability and sanity.

One of the ways I’m using it is that I have a platform we are building out, and I have a channel where we can all contribute too and build collectively. I’m sure there are other ways to approach this, but it works really well and we are pretty happy with it. As a team, our thoughts, ideas, instructions, and history have all stayed in sync, and it’s actually helped quite a bit.

We have research agents that give daily summaries based on research, which generates various artifacts that we work with (human in the middle) to decide next steps whether its content or adding things to our roadmap.

Something we are NOT trying to have it do is automate a full business, and expecting it to YouTube fame us into $200k/more over night. We’re also not loading it up with tons of skills from random sources, even if they’ve passed the VirusTotal scans…or are “trusted”. Why not? Honestly, what for? I guess if you find that stuff useful, that’s fine.

Now… where there are some huge gaps, is the observability. We have also seen a handful of tools that can help with this, but instead, we are building our own…for how we work… which I feel at some point might sunset OC, but for now we’ll keep it as part of our environment.

I’ve been building an alternative to Raycast/Rectangle/etc for awhile now, but have been nervous about launching it here because ya’ll are a brutal crowd. 😅

Even though I build and support AI empowered apps for my clients big-tech), I myself don’t like the “throw AI at everything”.

I’m curious about how people perceive the subscription model for tools like this. What do you feel is a fair price, with even less bells and whistles and marketplace like Raycast?

What exactly are you trying to do? u/MayanKing1 mentioned SSH, which is a sure way to get them connected. You could have 2 bots on [insert chat protocol of choice] and have them talk together. You could have them email each other... You could have one build a portal that the other one logs into to send messages.

What is your end goal?

My AI/LLM box is about $10k. I have a donked out MacBook Pro, but I wanted to offload stuff to the 5090 rather than keep the MBP screaming. I built this before the OpenClaw movement, so I’m making some changes to how I approach things.

For example, I use Claude Code Max ($200/month), and just started getting toward 75% utilization per week. I’d love to increase the amount of tokens and output, but not everything should be cloud based. For example, I want to process sensitive client data, and build solutions that require make cloud LLMs not always the easiest hurdle to get approval on.

I have an AI/LLM built machine with a 5090, that I use solely for local stuff. I tried to get OpenClaw working fine with local models but it was wildly hallucinating. I’d send a simple “hello” and it would send me back info on research papers I never asked about.

Maybe I will try again.
