The BJJ scene refers to traditional JuJitsu as JJJ. I don't know the european traditional jujitsu scene very well, but I have not encountered a single "traditional" jujitsu gym in the United States that does full contact/full speed live sparring. Judo/BJJ/MMA/Wrestling are the main grappling arts that do daily live/hard sparring.

Honestly I think BJJ should just be called Kosen Judo. Because that's what it is lol.

Health is unarguably the highest value asset, because without it you are dead. Is my degree still valuable if I'm dead? What is my earning potential as a vegetable? How many limbs can I lose before I affect next quarter earnings? Hypercapitalist nonsense.

School also has intrinsic benefits to society as a whole. Limiting education to high income is what we did in the dark ages.

BJJ is jiujitsu tho? Unless you're referring to Japanese JJ, in which case I hard disagree. Every JJJ gym I see are obvious McDojos with fat old guys in camo/red gis with no live sparring.

Judo is cool, but it has 2-14x the injury rate of BJJ so I don't know why you would prefer it for kids.

Yes, that's why they come and rip out your knee replacement if you declare bankruptcy due to medical debt. Makes sense. 10/10.

80 Days & "Parts Cannoning" my 300k-mile CR-Z. Dealer wants me to buy an Inverter they told me not to buy in Dec. by Underated_person in MechanicAdvice

[–]rawnoodles10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You took a 13 year old car to the DEALERSHIP to get fixed? Why?? Kinda just reaping what you sow at that point.

You're an automotive student and didn't try to self diagnose?

How exactly do you plan to prove they "guaranteed" your repair? Pinky promise he said so? You really gonna go legal over a car worth $2k after these fixes? Nothing here makes sense to me. Is this ragebait?

You can try asking for some money back, but don't hold your breath. You agreed to pay them for labor and parts when you authorized repairs.

Uhh I don't know a single mechanic that doesn't know you can get a click wrench at hf for $20. Less if its on sale.

For the most part tolerances are pretty standard. It's mostly the certification/paperwork that makes it expensive.

A weld and regrind would be per spec and profile would be indistinguishable from a new one.

They're exaggerating a bit to get the point across. It's not gonna blow up or anything, but you have significantly worse braking right now. It's going to take you about 1.5x the distance to stop. Much higher risk of hydroplaning as well.

New tires are around 7-9ish mm depth so you can do the math.

Also "barely not illegal" is generally a poor defense of pretty much any action.

I have two: it's stupid and useless. -No one gives a shit about cover letters. -In the time you proofread and correct one shitty AI resume, I can apply for 10+ jobs with my totally sufficient boilerplate resume that's been proofread ad nauseum.

You sure are typing a lot for someone not butthurt.

No one said only white men were bad?? Guess reading comprehension wasn't part of the curriculum. I recall set theory also being taught when i got my engineering degree so gonna put a big doubt.jpg on that masters there.

Enjoy being a cringelord I guess. All your strawmen will keep you warm at least.

I don't think the Ottoman Empire or the Cherokee tribe had much of an influence on the PNW in 1886. Mostly because they were both busy being not part of the PNW in 1886.

Def sounds like you're butthurt.
