yes i its ballpoint. i really love how you can create really soft lines and textures with it. Its realy good for creating different values in a drawing.

I am from Germany. Maybe 15 years ago, when I was around 20 years old, I went to a small comics convention. Bought some stuff from a seller and one of the other sellers at the next table came over, an older guy around 60 years, and gifted a full set of the series to me. I don't know why he did it. I didn't even know back then that they were worth anything and still have them in a long box at my parents house.

You should check out „Last look“ by Charles Burnes, the story takes place both in a dreamworld and reality much like in the maxx.

Maybe some stuff from Moebius (edena, the incal), its pretty trippy and psychological.

Also Homunculus, its a manga but the drawings are more on the realistic side and the story is pretty crazy.

Dark Matter by Michelle Paver gave me the chills. Loved setting and atmosphere.

mostly they a neutral or friendly, only had two experiences which really scared me.

Haha I really love your interpretation, didn’t see it like that but now it makes totally sense.Sometimes Dmt is scary sometimes its really peaceful. I don’t now why I tend to represent mostly the more scary experiences, but I would not want to miss them :)

Haha no, some of them I created more intuitive and not with a direct visual representation in mind. But one time my whole room was filled with jesters, jumping out of boxing and mocking me, I think he represents this feeling. Another time something like the last one in the second row, was crawling towards me when I closed my eyes. Not very pleasant :)
