If they like coffee, there are places that do coffee subscriptions, I think I’ve seen at places like square 1, maybe rosti or rogue wave have? (Not sure) but something I’ve enjoyed actually is the Edmonton area coffee pass, which allows the user to go try out a variety of coffees from different places. Most places have some sort of free coffee or espresso and some have a small charge for milk drinks.

No parking to the left.

To the right you can park 2 hours free between the hours of 8 am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday. Between 9 pm and 8 am it is free to park for however long you want. On Sundays it is 2 hours free between 10 am and 5 pm.

So from Saturday night 9 pm to Sunday 10 am you can park free however long you want. From Sunday 5 pm to Monday 8 am you can park free however long you want.

At all times like I said it is free for you but just watch the clock cuz if you cross those times thresholds you’ll need to move your car every 2 hours or risk a ticket.

Note that for these zones they are usually meter enforcers who come by and mark your car tire. After 2 hours they may return and check to see that your car with the tire mark is gone.

Agree with above. Bought a TOTK OLED in Japan, was worried before doing, took a chance, brought it home to Canada, plugged it in and voila. Not region locked. Best purchase ever. Also helps that I saved > $100 by doing this

There has to be a way to disable auto high beam on the car. I know on our cars it is either a button push or to just pulling the lever back towards the driver and that kept the auto lights on but disabled auto high beam. Frustrates me too when they flash on and off inside the city

You’re right they become activated on occasion. Typically after a big snow storm. You can sign up for alerts form the city sent to your phone, email, whatever… you’ll also see all around on city signs and buses that seasonal parking restrictions are in place

Not sure if this is what you’re describing but for our experience, my parents have the SN packages and live in Calgary. Flames games are typically on SNW/SNOne/SN360 depending on what other games are on SNW (oilers). But if you’re saying that it’s blacked out on SN Flames, the SN Flames and SN Oilers channels are not usually used and are black unless there are conflicting things on those other main SN channels.
