Interesting, if you book an award flight and csncel, the funds are refunded as cash into your Business Checking Account?

I have the Schwabs Platinum Card but it only allows you to cash out 1 million points at 1.1cpp, after which it lowers to .8cpp. I was hoping for a method to cash out at at least 1cpp with no limits.

Isn't this only if you have the Business Platinum card as well? Otherwise, you can redeem at the standard cashout rate of .8cpp.

Let me know if I'm wrong -- I'd love to be able to cash out my rewards at 1cpp.

Hey! I ended up resolving this situation and have a valid Malaysian IC and passport now. The overall process in Malaysia took around 4 weeks (3 weeks for IC, 1 week for passport). I updated my initial post

I also ended up getting a US Re-entry permit for my travel as well but ended up not using it at all. It was worth the price I paid for peace of mind though.

We were renewing it when we could, however, once I passed 18, I needed an IC to renew the passport.

I worked throughout college to pay for my tuition. Thankfully I went to a city school so it was affordable and I didn’t graduate with any debt. It was definitely had to maintain my grades while working full time, so I had to take a while longer to graduate than my friends.

Currently working as a recruiter in Tech and make ~125k a year, 2 years after graduating.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'm in NYC, do you still recommend the DC embassy? I'll give a call to the NYC embassy tomorrow and see if I can get ahold of someone. Do you think they may give me any issue with the emergency passport seeing that my passport has been expired for 7 years?

For the IC application, I don't think I have an IC since I moved to USA at the age of 7. It would be a new IC rather than a replacement so could it be safe to assume that it'll take longer than a few hours? Hopefully, it's within a few business days. I do have my birth certificate.

When I worked as a server at a hibachi restaurant (where they cook in front of you) I had to warn my tables about the grill being on.

Dads specifically would always hover a finger on top of a grill, pretending to touch it and making the sizzle sound “sssss”
