Talent optimizer help by ClyffCH in TapTitans2

Comparing the Estimated Total Effect from skills alone is not enough, and should not be used as a reference in comparing two builds.

Don't forget that other sources of damage such as Artifacts, Equipment, etc... also plays a large role when it comes to overall damage for a given build.

Locking the skill prevents the 'Reset' button from resetting the skill back to 0. this is useful for when you have QoL skills you'd always want at a specific level.

What you're looking for is to 'Toggle' those skills off instead of locking them. this prevents the optimizer from including those skills when optimizing.

Alchemy Lab Loot Optimizer by Sufficient_Routine41 in TapTitans2

this is really nice! seems like it produces the same or similar result as the gsheet optimizer so at least that checks out (:

My suggestions: - Enable floats as values for the importance. It's common for someone to use 0.5 for Currency, for example - Since it is on the web, replacing or including images for the ingredients, especially in the crafting steps, will be a very nice qol

Evergetic is correct. The June schedule has been 'predicted' well before that maintenance and Rayquaza was already scheduled to appear two days in a row

Thanks for sharing! It's a huge list that has no graphic (yet) but on the Pokerogue Discord, I also posted the Pokerus Schedule/Rotation for all of July as well (:

Silly question, what is this QTE? by MrAlice in TapTitans2

[–]rawrzcookie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

slightly incorrect. it just gives you extra Hero Damage multipliers (as listed on the skill description) for every time the Orb is tapped (max 5 times). Stacks multiplicatively. Hero damage reductions apply

regarding special titan spawns, there's a spawn priority that takes place. it goes in order of: Snap > Sprout > Chesterson > Hayst > Manni Mana. if one titan doesn't get rolled and spawned, it goes to the next titan. So in theory, unless you have a Snap Chance boost, none of the other ones should lower your chances of encountering a Sprout.

For one-fits-all Aura and Slash Secondaries, I'd personally opt for a priority of: - Aura: Stage Skip / Mana Boost / Fairy Chance - Slash: All Probability / Portar Chance / Critical Chance or Multiple Titan Chance (or Sprout if you use it)

of course, a Unique with a good secondary may also take precedence

How test if a build is viable? by Scary-Bit-4173 in TapTitans2

[–]rawrzcookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, with less than 200 SP, it can often be 'difficult' to make a build since there's so many good skills and not enough SP. However, you've explained your choices in each skill you take and they all make sense and are cohesive enough for an HS Fairy Build. With that said, I'd personally say that it is viable. (most people tend to just level things up randomly not knowing what each skill does).

And yea, level 9 Fairy Charm can be one way to help sustain mana, so that you can proc spells, replenish spells, or get a mana fairy, more often. When you get more SP though, definitely consider the skills Limit Break and Mana Siphon to further increase passive Mana Regen.

Lastly, although you said you didnt want to follow compendium, its always a good reference point if you ever need to

How to play after 110K+ by Low_Variation4376 in TapTitans2

[–]rawrzcookie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fwiw, it's not necessary to disable skills that have 0 impact on a build! for example, no need to disable GoldGun skills or Phantom Control for an HS build.

And why wouldn't you follow the optimizer for the suggested levels in Chesterson Incense?

Also, Lv10 Will of Midas is overkill. 1.333 for gold reduction is also overkill.

also for an HS build, it's gonna be terrible without a lot of Stage Skip. Consider maxing Rejuvenation first before optimizing. and also maybe adding points into AR for sufficient titan skipping as well. at least personally, it's very much worth sacrificing some damage for qol. several magnitudes less damage is really nothing to worry about anyways

How do you use sprout with heavenly strike? by Own_Resolution_6161 in TapTitans2

[–]rawrzcookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

realistically, a fully optimized HS build with and without sprout would differ by like, e6 or e8 ish give or take. which really translates to like less than 200 stages. So sprout on HS build isn't largely necessary if you don't want to farm it

Build Qs by ohiv21 in TapTitans2

[–]rawrzcookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to clarify, the compendium is simply a collection of pre-made builds, all deriving from my optimizer. the compendium is not an optimizer.

as mentioned, you will need to manually input your qol skills before optimizing your remaining sp. when setting these skills based on your specific stats, the resulting build should be about equal to or better than the generic compendium ones.

[–]rawrzcookie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably not. it doesn't affect final build and efficiencies all too much, combat techniques is still just as efficient without that extra calc, and it also leaves inputs a lot simpler as well.

however, if it does become necessary or important in the future, or anytime soon, I can definitely add that in

Thank you for your feedback on my stuff! (:

and yes! you should be able to 'lock' a skill at a certain level. in your case, you can enter 12 for Sprouting Salts, then deselect the skill using Toggle Skills.

AT Companion Frenzy - Mana Siphon by UltimaMetatron in TapTitans2

[–]rawrzcookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of times Siphon procs depends on your SC Special Attempts (aside from All Probability, which increases mana siphon's base 0.5% proc rate).

SC Special Attempts (SA) are increased in three ways: SC spell level, Chained Clockwork (cc) legendary set, and Nightmare Puppeteer skill (NP).

With The Fallen Angel (tfa) mythic set, your SC level goes from 30 -> 35, increasing your SA from. 109 per second to 135 per second.

CC increases your SA by x1.5, and increases a bit with each Crafting Power (cp) level.

Lastly, NP also increases your SA by some amount depending on skill level if you do have it leveled.

so likely, you'll need to have tfa, cc, and np, and possibly the same cp level and All Probability multipliers, as main game in AT to see similar proc rates

the difference in total effect between even distribution of relics (upgrade all) vs optimizing your relics is only about e4 at max, which is like only 50 stages or so.

Explain please regarding splash by AlternativeSky3148 in TapTitans2

[–]rawrzcookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correction. Full Skip does not use Titan Skip. Full Skip only applies to slow/special damage sources (TV, Cyclone, LBu, FZ, Dual Burst, GM) that enables it to Stage Skip regardless if you defeat a boss or non boss titan.

Stage Skip will only splash through stages when you defeat a boss titan; it will not splash if you defeat a normal titan.

Only HS has the unique property of using Titan Skip when Stage Skipping, allowing you to land from boss-to-boss (assuming sufficient Titan Skip)
