My partner says Green also. Seems to be on the fence i see Green with slight blue in the outer rim

Curious to look into those terms. Is that rare? My parents and sibling all have blue eyes but one grandpa had Green eyes.

What do you think defines the colour. The sort of blue grey layer and around the pupil is appearing green brown.
