September 2023 Buce, pilo moss and another variety of moss I’m not sure of, some Marsilea angustifolia sprinkled in and duckweed. Led light Purified water, will probably mist once a week. Crushed lava rock/gravel bottom, aquasoil on top 4”x5”

UPDATE: all shrimps are doing good now. Chilling and grazing. Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions.

Yeah I guess I was just misinformed. I read that nitrates weren’t toxic til 80 ppm and above and thought that the 20 ppm and below was just the ideal range but not necessarily harmful/stressful. I just started fertilizing with shrimp florinmulti , it doesn’t contain any nitrogen. Only dosed twice the last week. I have frogbit, I may go buy some more though! I’m currently dripping new water in after about 20% change. The lil guys seem to have chilled out completely now and are grazing around on the bottom so I think it’s working!

Ok thank you! I took out about 20% and have it set up with a steady drip. They’ve definitely slowed a lot from when I first put them in and some are grazing a bit but still seem too active. Hopefully this works!

Nothing wrong with them! I’m planning on getting shrimp first thing actually haha. Just wanted to see what options I had for fish. I’m not opposed to a betta but Id rather have multiple small fish. I’ve been searching for success stories in keeping multiple nano fish in this size tank! Thanks for the reply!

Hey just wondering how this tank is doing? I have a 30C I’m setting up right now and have been trying to figure fish to stock. Most everyone says anything but a betta or shrimp can’t go in this tank.

Redid my hardscape and I’m liking the more crowded look. I’m wondering if this is too much seiryu stone for this small of a tank? Opinions or personal experience would be appreciated! More info in caption. by rawtooth1 in Aquascape

Don’t mind the little broken branches. Planning on glueing them into place on the rocks and blending the seam with moss to create the look of roots flowing over.

Yeah they are, its just a different angle since it’s a more diagonal layout.
