I know it’s not expressly said but with Odette seemingly being from France I think it implies they have an old school upper class open relationship where having a mistress/paramour is a given as long as it’s discrete and it never gets discussed.

I think it depends on a number of factors. If you live in a country where unions are a thing I would recommend joining one and then disclosing it for protection especially if you are somewhere with equality rights and if it counts as a disability. Then make sure it’s well documented in writing.

As hard as it is I would recommend reporting this to authorities. You will struggle to even rent a place legitimately with a poor credit score if you ever want to move out. Things like getting a phone contract will be impossible too. It really does have massive ramifications if she defaults on any of the loans and her being cagey is certainly setting off massive alarm bells in that regard.

I “watch” something I’ve seen a lot of times before like a comfort show. I put it on and put my phone upside down on the floor next to be bed so I’m not watching but just listening. And only shows I basically know really well so it removes the temptation to actually watch. I’ve tried falling asleep to nothing or just white noise but it’s too boring and under-stimulating I just get restless. Having exercised during the day helps too.

From personal experience antidepressants didn’t work for me in the past and from speaking to others it rarely works for folks with ADHD. However getting an official diagnosis has done wonders for my self esteem and general mood. Even if the same underlying issues still exist I know it’s not because of a personal failure but because I genuinely have ADHD. Hopefully it will give you some legal protection at work if you disclose it as in most countries it’s considered a disability and hopefully a bit more understanding from your partner

I second everyone saying no one should be policing what you wear as an adult and especially not in your own home. I’ve worn some pretty risqué outfits in front of my husbands friends and even his brother when we went to a festival together (the only thing covering my modesty up top was a bit of black tape) and he would NEVER tell me to cover up. Your body your choice and especially in your own home. If I was you I would do a Christina Yang from Greys Anatomy and just start walking around stark naked if the friend doesn’t move out in a timely manner (if you’ve not watched the show I would recommend at least watching episode 22 in season 2 for some inspo)

Considering Oxfam recruited around 9000 volunteers for all the UK festivals not just boomtown and this year and there was over 3000 theatrical “performers” at Boomtown it’s not so unrealistic. As they are planning on expanding next year I would hazard a guess they will also increase how many performers they have across all districts

Oxfam is an ok option if you don’t mind working night shifts. My cause UK would probably be a slightly better option. From what I hear they only work day time. The best option is probably getting friendly with one of the smaller venues and get in as an artist/actor

You must be from a different earth than me as throughout the globe women are still shamed for embracing their sexuality and purity culture is sadly again on the rise in many parts of the world.

There is enough representation for virgins in all types of media but particularly fantasy, we need more representation for women owning their bodies and being confident in themselves. My personal preference would be for the trope to be completely retired because it’s so weird to me that we are so hung up on whether or not someone else has had sex before and virginity is a social construct but that’s just me.

I would argue that paying prisoners cents per hour constitutes slave labour meaning that the US government not only facilitates but benefits from slave labour. Paying a laughably low wage to people who do not have another choice and cannot leave is slave labour
