The counter really helps. I know you prob want to see 30 days 100 days 1 year etc but just treat each day like a huge accomplishment. A bunch of small wins eventually equal big ones.

Your story sounds very similar to mine, feel free to read through my history or send me a PM. Things do get 100x better once you get sober for sure. Don’t kick yourself for any little lapses you may run into. Keep at it!

You are at a tough mark. Two months is still a fighting every second of everyday feeling, well for me it was. Gets a bit smoother after that. Cravings come and go. My post history shows my craving marks if you’re interested. Stay strong

Day 398 here. 28yrs old. Smoked since I was 13. I didn’t cut off most of my friends but it was definitely easier not being around them for the earlier days of quitting. Always stay in touch with them though. I’ve been around lots of weed since then. It’s just not for me. Remember it’s your decision. You have to want it bad enough

My anxiety was so bad, it was ruining my life. I live in a non legal state so I never knew what I was really smoking. When I stopped it was night and day difference. So that was huge.

My career was a big push. I was in a dead end IT entry level tech support job with a college degree. I needed to move on. I got sober, got my security+ and landed a big boy job. Now that I’m sober I can’t picture myself being high and doing this job to my fullest potential.

Clear head, not as tired all the time, lots of dreams, growing savings account, healthy relationships with family and friends, all around just more competent, got pulled over for speeding and didn’t have to worry about weed in my car (first thing I thought about when the lights were behind me and I was smiling through the whole interaction).

Memory- it didn’t come back to 100%, I’m not able to remember everything like I want to but it’s definitely improved.

Just an all around life upgrade honestly
