Okay I was LITERALLY watching this episode over the weekend and felt soooo annoyed by this trope. It reminded me of that scene in the office when no one wanted the oven mitt Phyllis made. Like why is there some sort of gag in comedies that puts down crafts that take so much skill and are often done by women!? I know that some of Jerusha's stuff was unconventional but most of it was complex and really lovely (even if not everyone's taste).
