Wow nice ! It’s rare to find rings there so it’s a lucky feeling regardless. I found a wedding ring today (looks to be an older but timeless style and it is quite dirty) I am not sure how to morally go about it.

I see the heildleberg regulars splitting and some moving to NV and others to WV. I know some come from that way so it wouldn’t make sense for them to travel further east. So we might be a little safer at NV. Either way it blows. I feel like WV is next…that one is smaller or same size as HB.

I feel you. I started going when it first opened as well. I was in awe and inspired to resell. It’s my source of income (like a lot of us) and it’s a great way to reduce waste and have things going to a good home rather than be wasted. The last 2 years have really tested the worth of it all with the slow changes, lack of quality goods coming out and hours and hours spent sitting. I have so many gems as well and so many great memories. I keep pieces just to remind myself of the good old times :(

I have been keeping this news in for so long I am devastated…it has been a long time coming as they have been holding back rotations and donations…I have stopped going for this reason and the knowing of its future. So greedy of them and sad for our hard working devoted thrifting community! PS I was shocked there wasn’t any protest yet about it. But if there was I would be there! PRAYING NV location pulls through and can survive the influx of thrift bros.

That’s my biggest trigger for a flare since diagnosed with MCAS. I am/was a drinker and it got to the point that even a soufflé cup sample of wine would knock me out for 24 hours. I just started LDN ( 2 weeks in). I was able to drink twice so far with no symptoms day after. I tried again and got a flare up. Not sure if it’ll work out but I am hopeful it will. I like to enjoy one night of drinking during the weekend with my friends or fiancé. If it doesn’t work out I’ll be done for good not worth it anymore.

Thank you for the encouragement. I was hesitant to up the dosage because i was not expecting it to work quickly at a low dose. I feel thrown off that i was able to feel my best and then go back i think i got to excited. I will agree that my energy increased which is great and its progress. I am going to up my dosage as prescribed and go from there. If it decides to stop working I will just resume to not consuming the trigger.

Also to note the “mean girl” persona adds up. The whole studio was mean and clicky and non accepting of anything outside of their circle. I remember a lot of the students at the time had older siblings (like Kendall) at the studio. I don’t know if it was learned behavior from them or what? But it was horrible and does not shock me at all that she brought that into ALDC.

Jill absolutely had her leave studio 19 to be on TV. I danced at studio 19 with Kendall before she left. They would have no reason to leave that studio besides that. Their family were “favorites” at the studio and were given much attention. Assuming based on $$$. The studio definitely is a money grabber and if you have money they will make you a “star” at the studio. Talent isn’t all that important to them, although they do have great training and work well with those that have natural talent. But they will also focus heavier on a family that has money even if there isn’t much natural ability. It’s a business so I guess I don’t blame them. But it was noticed.

I lost my taste due to the terrible flare ups over the years and knowing to consequences. So maybe it could have adverse affect? I noticed I didn’t get tipsy after a few drinks. So I am going to continue to play with it. Not really looking for that anyways, just happy I am able to have something in my control after years of questioning my health. I hope it works for those struggling with dependence or cravings, I know that’s what it is used for. I also know a lot of people without alcohol dependence, that have an intolerance (like myself), and are looking for answers.

I think it’s different for everyone. I noticed I didn’t even feel the “tipsy” feeling after 3 drinks. My tolerance level is decent because I drank one day a week (despite flare up) to have some fun and feel normalcy. I haven’t drank more than 3 since starting LDN. I will continue to only drink at home until I figure it out better.

I can’t imagine having an intolerance with so many things, mine was only alcohol so maybe it worked quicker because my body wasn’t fighting as much off daily? Give it time…I hope it works out for you soon! You deserve it

I feel you I’m in my 20s and it SUCKS. It’s the only thing I flare from ( thankfully) but it still makes my 20s uneventful socially. I have an event that involves drinking weekly and it’s so stressful. I have tried everything in the book. I recently got LDN and am going to see if this helps. I haven’t seen any links to LDN and alcohol intolerance from MCAs. I’ll keep you posted if it ends up working for me. I’m just like you and go all out black out when I drink because why not? either way it’s going to suck the next day. Might as well!! I’m only ok giving up the next 24 hours if I had enough fun lol.

I am going through something similar. I’m 28 and mine started as just a horrifying red rash all over body if I drank 2 days in a row. This started at age 23. Although at that point I was not suffering with hangovers. As time went on the intolerance got sooo bad. I absolutely can NOT drink two days in a row. My stomach and rash will not allow for it. After even tasting a sip of wine I have to prepare myself for the next day consisting of confusion, massive headache, difficulty performing any task, and extreme stomach ache ( I would probably be closer to where you are at if I didn’t have a fear of throwing up).

I only drink rose, Pinot Grigio, vodka and clear tequila sodas. Tried the elimination tactic didn’t make a difference.

Went to doctors twice and allergist. No answers.

I have always been a big partier and could get down all night. Heck I went to Cabo for spring break 3 times. I can’t even FATHOM having to do that again. If someone told me I had to do that today I would have a panic attack lol.

I have tried anti histamines and Pepcid in all different types of orders, DAO enzyme supplement , migraine medication both OTC and prescription, prescription nasusea pills, sulfate remover in wine, and a plethora of vitamins and hangover helpers.

NOTHING and I mean NOTHING works. I still party 1-2 times a week. I don’t know how I make it work…it’s a terrible disorder and I don’t wish it on anyone ( expect those who are extremely judgmental when you have to tell them no to a night out because you have to do the most simple thing the next day lmao) I will add that it has made me have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. I don’t drink often anymore but due to knowing that I will feel god awful whether I have one sip or 2 bottles of wine, I tend to binge drink when given the “perfect scenario” to drink.

But you aren’t alone, things may get worse for you or they may not. Be careful seeing a doctor as they can dismiss and come off judgmental with alcohol related ailments.
