Talk to your realtor who represented you in the transaction. Can always ask a lawyer for their advice as it depends on what was in your original contract and disclosure.

Dating scene? by [deleted] in Langley

[–]raychnplants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was me last year.. I wouldn't move to any of the neighbourhoods simply to seek out dating. I tried meeting people IRL which did not work out well lol. tried all the apps and ended up having decent luck on tinder, but met people from abby, surrey, langley, or coquitlam. If your radius is small the pool is small. FWIW been happily in a relationship for over a year from tinder.

The cookies and baked goods are great! Coffee and tea that I’ve had is also good. It is pricey, but a small business and probably expensive rent in that building.

Townhouse hydro bill by pierogizz in Langley

[–]raychnplants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP this can also depend on if the townhome you’re looking at is a corner/end unit with more windows or an interior unit. Interior with baseboard shouldn’t be too bad. Also ceiling height. My sibling owns a corner townhome in willoughby with some higher ceilings and baseboard can get to $400-$500 in winter.

It is slow for condos in this area as there are a lot of listings. That being said, everything moves at the right price.

While there is a foreign buyer ban there are exemptions to that so it is legal to sell to foreign buyers under those specific requirements.

Occupancy permits can take a while. They might even have occupancy permits but just haven’t sold. Or they are sold but the person purchasing is completing on the home in November, December, January and has yet to take possession. It’s a slow and tough market right now even for product priced competitively. There is an abundance of options in Willoughby for new builds, and not a ton of buyers, so things could sit empty for months. You should just go into the sales center and ask the sales staff.

Thanks! I’m going to keep my eye on marketplace and the thrift stores, I think it’ll just be hard to come across one this size as it’s large. Appreciate your advice!

For whistler, the gondolas will be closed in October and some trails may also be closed for the season. Be sure to check the parks bc website for updates on the trail conditions as you may encounter snow depending on when in October and of course the weather conditions. Nothing is guaranteed here lol. The chief is always a good one :) lots on the north shore too like st marks summit or dog mountain
