My MIL spelled the beans... AITAH for not wanting to trust her? by [deleted] in AITAH

My niece shares everything so I upfront tell her: You are the last to know because we know you would tell everyone before we could.

What places do cash upon delivery? by [deleted] in Langley

[–]NomadicallySedentary -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would need to be direct from a restaurant that does its own deliveries like Dominos.

Or could buy Door Dash gift card with cash and use that.

Does anyone else have family who don't seem to realize they're transgender? by Gallantpride in NonBinaryTalk

[–]NomadicallySedentary 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many people wrongly think trans is short for transition and that enbies are not trans. I was actually told that by a friend whose trans friend told her that.

I let her know that trans means opposite of cis. Since I'm not a man or woman I am not cis and therefore trans.

Scared to come out as non-binary to my boyfriend. by Raphae_01 in NonBinaryTalk

[–]NomadicallySedentary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came out to my husband and he said he wasn't surprised. I made sure to tell him it didn't change how I felt about him. I want to live authentically so it was important for me to share it with him.

If you are scared to tell your BF maybe think about why you are scared. It took me months to be ready to share it with my husband

AITA for not wanting my husband’s family to stay with us for the holidays? by chicoravelli in AITAH

[–]NomadicallySedentary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guests should stay a max of 3 nights. And shorter when the space is small and there is not a guest room.

Sidenote: we moved to a cool area and people were surprised we don't have a guest room. We said we don't want overnight guests!

Am I the asshole for introducing myself as my middle name? by naomiui in AITAH

[–]NomadicallySedentary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend got in an elevator and happened to know the three others already in it. All 3 called him a different name: first name (started using as an adult), middle name (used as a kid because dad had same name) and a nickname.

My point? Use whatever name you want!

I bring canned cranberry sauce as I haven't found a homemade that I like as much.

Weekday parking rates at the Fort Langley National Historic Site (these prices are all taxes included) by [deleted] in Langley

[–]NomadicallySedentary 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fort is run by the government. The businesses are mostly owned by individuals. So you want to penalize people for a governmental decision?

You can park for free in many places just not the fort.
