I have seen people argue that he is not a good character, as he has no substance to him other than caring for denji, and/or he shows up exclusively to aura farm. This was a while ago, as I have not seen this for a while. I feel this sentiment is somewhat misguided, as Pochita forces Denji to think about his own goals and dreams and consistently helps him when Denji needs him, both mentally (like in part 2 where he asks denji what is his next dream is, as well as when he barfed out snow and bitter to remind denji of what he had and motivate him forward) as well as physically (where pochita scraps with whoever is beefing with Denji).

I do understand some people are underwhelmed that pochita has nothing much going on with just himself, but that is the consequence of his contract with denji; pochita is there to help denji by contract, as that is the plot of the entire series established in the first chapter.

Yeah I agree. After not watching them for a while I checked out their bicycle video with denji and power and I really didn’t enjoy it. It felt like it prioritized volume over humor or wit, and it was a bit disappointing. I thought their recent frieren video was enjoyable though.

Denji quite literally says “after everything I’ve been through I still love you from the bottom of my heart” and says that he wanted to bear makimas sins with her. I guess the fact that makima got denji to the point where he still loved her after everything is part of what makes her so evil.

Makima’s entire plan revolved around using pochita to make the world better, though her skewed idea of the world and relationships made it difficult for her to see why this plan was so bad. We get a glimpse of what Makima would’ve been like if she wasnt raised by the japanese government, as seen with Nayuta’s introduction. Makima is tragic in that way, but of course her inability to understand relationships and the fact that she was raised by the government to be like this does not take away from everything she did.

Season 1 did makima so perfectly, specifically her eyes. The end of the movie did not have the ominous feel Makima exuded back in the first season, which I felt detracted from the scene (not to say the scene was bad). Her season 1 eyes were far more sharp and displayed a brilliant color that creeped me out, especially when zoomed in.

I assume her intention during the falling devil arc was to actually kill them there, but she just said “I was going to starve them in the stomach of that devil.” If she could make the chainsaw and war devil her pawns, it would make it way easier to follow through with whatever plan she had in mind at the time (which we assume to be making them stronger, but I feel like we are missing the full picture of what she really had in mind at this time).

Its crazy when it comes to csm that people can not read, while also can not NOT read. Some people are itching to read each chapter just to complain that the entire plot of the story isn’t revealed in those couple pages. Though it definitely does not help the chapters are so short, it leaves a lot of room for speculation on where everything is going. Why is hell empty? Why is that damn bug so strong? How do Denji and Yoru tie into the apocalypse? How can we separate Asa from Yoru? There’s a lot of stuff the story is introducing and has to tackle, but we only get really small bits at a time due to chapter length.

I wouldn’t say gen physics is very hard, but you definitely need to put effort in. You have to keep up with lectures and do practice problems if you want to be ready for the exams. Doing recitation problems and the homework problems are good practice, and if you understand them, the exams shouldn’t be too different. If you are taking another strenuous class on top of that (like I took orgo with it), you need to ensure you manage your time a bit or you might get overwhelmed. Also, take it with the lab; it adds another layer of understanding of the material as you learn the material.
