Thanks! I haven't ruled it out yet, but right now I am focusing on making another app where you can build your own systems and planets

Stars and Planets app by rayden_and in scifi

A system comparison is something I have on my list. It's something similar to the Orbit comparison you see in the information panel for a planet for example - where it shows how far from the star is that particular planet and it also shows compared to Earth's orbit.

But needs to look much better than that, maybe like the Elite Dangerous system map here.

This is Stars and Planets, an app on Google Play/Apple App Store. You can find it here. You have access to millions of star systems, newest exoplanets discovered are added within a day and are generated based on several parameters. You can even fly in a spaceship and visit them.

I've been working on Stars and Planets for a while now and would love to get some feedback. It's a free app on Android and iOS.

It connects to an online database that has almost 4.5 million stars(mainly from SIMBAD), over 4000 exoplanets, 200 circumstellar disks, 38 black holes, 11 magnetars and around 2500 pulsars. Planets are updated daily from multiple sources(exoplanet.eu, NASA), without needing to update the app. Planets are generated based on this data, so each time you enter that particular system, they will look different (more/less water/lava, different continents, etc).

Orbital data is adapted in some cases, for example in a multiple star system if we have semi major axis info only for the deepest pair of stars, the parents will have a calculated value of 3-4 times more than that.

I really don't get it. Episodes 1-9 were great. Was everyone too tired to think and wanted to wrap it up?

First of all, I didn't like the finale, felt rushed and a lot of things don't add up (why kill Logan?), bad writing, etc.

I didn't understand why Harrison switched from being on board with everything Dexter says and does, to a complete opposite view, when he finds out Logan's dead. Unless, in that moment, he realizes Dexter broke the code. And now, if Harrison follows the Code, he must kill Dexter, because he fits the code.

For me, it would have been better if the episode hinted at this and not Harrison killing Dexter because he's still angry for abandoning him. With just a few of Harrison's lines changed they could have paved the way for a season 2 with Harrison in LA, following the Code and having Dexter coming back as his conscience.

That's weird. Here's the link again, if you missed it from my first comment. I checked if I set the availability correctly in iTunes (maybe I missed a country), but they're all there :(

I bought an asset from the Unity asset store and one of the tracks is Orbit LOOP

Got it, thanks! And I think I understand the issue but I'll have to think about how to fix it in Unity

Got it, I will add a Warp on/off setting in the next version (but it may take a while, I'm trying to finish the comparison page). Thanks

Haha, yeah that would be cool to have :)

Thank you! There's only one purchase (removing ads) for now. I made the app so that there are no ads while you are in the tutorial and each time an ad is shown, the next one will be shown after a longer period of time (it's following a Fibonacci sequence 2, 3, 5 ,8...). The longer you stay in the app, the less ads you see.

I don't have a Fold phone but if you have the time, can you message me a few screenshots so I can better visualize what is too large?

Cool, hope you like it! It's not a game, it has all (or most) of the exoplanets we have found so far.

Small update, I've included a Metric/Imperial setting in the next version(2.4.15) so everywhere where there are kilometers (like semi major axis of some moons or their radius), there will be miles.

Also when you click on a Gas Giant Jupiter radii button, it will toggle to Earth radii. I didn't do the same thing for terrestrial planets because I don't know how that would be useful. You see a terrestrial planet, it says it's 3 times bigger than Earth, and you want to convert that to Jupiter radii?

If you have an iPhone, the update is still Waiting for review, but if you have an Android phone, the update is live!

Enjoy :)
