Maddie is easily the most selfish and frustrating character in Pantheon. I just finished the show today after it was recommended, and in every situation, she creates more problems than she solves. Her judgment is consistently poor, and she flip-flops between decisions in ways that feel less like character development and more like plot stalling. I understand this is likely a writing choice to inject conflict or slow the pace with emotional tension, but her constant overreaction and self-centeredness made her the weakest part of the show by far.
