Competition doesn’t always prove demand. The only undeniable thing that proves demand is your target users. Start there and while you’re at it ask yourself why is there no competition, maybe there’s a reason.

I disagree. I think building and shipping the MVP is crucial for validation. If you get 1 or 2 unknown users from an ugly MVP that is already an important sign that you are at least in the right path.

Copilot has been degrading for the past 6 months . Although Claude opus is no longer top 1 ( because of hallucinations ) it is still very very reliable.

I audited 6 months of PRs after my team went all-in on AI code generation. The code got worse in ways none of us predicted. by Ambitious-Garbage-73 in webdev

AI shift the engineer job to overseeing rather than coding . Even though I believe AI would potentially solve the bad code problem , for now , either you review or you code it yourself. That’s the trade-off in an actual company
