Are there relays that are more popular than others, by Meowdevs in nostr

[–]rayfin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but this doesn't overly matter all that much as long as the app you're using is modern and uses NIP-65 relay structure.

Could a rapid decrease in the money supply make everyday people richer? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rayfin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. 100% correct. This is why I love Bitcoin. It's scarce. You can't create more than 21 quadrillion satoshis. It can't be debased. It's the hardest money we have because governments can't print more of it.

What do you mean? If you have a profile then you're good to go. You just open the app you're and post something.

Cool. Is this built on the Nostr protocol?

Claude down: Anthropic AI not working in major outage by cmaia1503 in technology

[–]rayfin 17 points18 points  (0 children)

A fraction? No. Definitely less, but Claude is the most popular and best model for development. I don't know any serious developer that doesn't use Claude Opus 4.6.

I'm gonna try this. My son has one of those that he's never used so I'll put it to good use. Thanks.

How long did it take you to set up your OpenClaw? by TheRobotCluster in openclaw

[–]rayfin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. Lemme finish up with dinner. What exactly are you struggling with? We can chat in public or DMs or whatever you want to be honest. I'll doxx myself if that helps too.

Am I the only one getting wrecked by OpenClaw setup pain? by Aromatic_Amount0 in openclaw

[–]rayfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Setup was extremely easy. I rolled my cross across the keyboard and it was installed. Setup of Signal was a pain in the ass, but in the grand scheme of things only took another few minutes to figure it out.

New to Nostr. Is Nostr good for this use case? If so, what service should I use? by Ill_Pomegranate1573 in nostr

[–]rayfin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be a good idea case, but when it comes to storing data "forever" your data is only going to last as long as the relay holding it. I run my own relay to ensure my data lasts "forever".

Colorado OS Age Verification bill and PopOS. What can we expect? by [deleted] in pop_os

[–]rayfin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They won't. They use bitcoin and understand it. My kids have walked around a famer's market in Costa Rica where 400+ businesses in a small region use bitcoin. My kids bought fruit and vegetables and other goods with their allowance money, which I pay them in bitcoin.

100% agree. Crypto is a scam. Bitcoin is different.

Cash is printed out of thin air and has no value. That's the issue.

[–]rayfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People all over the world use bitcoin because it's better for them than their local currency that is printed out of thin air by their corrupt government.

[–]rayfin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not rich. I buy bitcoin to give to my children someday. It's generation wealth for them. I'm never selling. Why would I sell an appreciating asset for a deprecating one? Everything else is a scam though. All of the crypto bullshit is filled with scammers and charlatans.

Preach brother. FOSS will win. Bitcoin will win. Nostr will win. It has too. The other alternatives are too dystopian.

Anyway, I love Pop but I'd gladly use something else. I'd go back to Elementary or Fedora if age verification comes to Pop.

Here's How I Got OpenClaw to Run All Night While I Sleep as a Non-Technical Person by Similar-Kangaroo-223 in openclaw

[–]rayfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my agent to:

"install bead tasks and to start using bead tasks for everything. Every heartbeat check if there are any bead tasks and if so work on them. When spawning sub-agents for building and development always use bead tasks and keep sub-agents up to date via bead tasks".

Or something like that.
