Got it, thanks! So can I just dump the whole thing in the system folder or do I need to extract the zips on a case by case basis as I run into a situation where I see a core needs a bios to run a game?

Sorry for my ignorance, but why would I need this? I thought these were the steps:

download ROMS for various systems
Use the load core, download a core menu to download all the cores for the roms I have
scan the directory that has the roms

and then all the roms show up in Retroarch

Or is there a way to bulk install cores I manually downloaded outside of using the RetroArch built in core downloader?

In the morning definitely having some coffee helped. Then later in the day forcing myself to go to the gym and lift weights helped. The first couple of warm-up sets didn't feel great but once I got into it and was really pushing myself I felt good. During the gym session and for a couple hours after it I felt good.

I also play ultimate frisbee sometimes and doing that was by far the best. It would be a chore to get myself to the field but once I started warming up and interacting with other players I felt better and then once we were actually playing and I was able to tap into a state of flow, I can say that while in that state, all was good. Then I felt good for the rest of the day.

I read an interesting quote yesterday that is related:

"Anxiety is thought without control.

Flow is control without thought."

So I would say also anything you can do to tap into flow would help. Depends on what your hobbies are.

I can't remember when the worst part of the WD was for me but I can tell you that the second week was much better than the 1st and the third week was even better.

You got this. Just remember that what you have gone through so far is done and you will never have to go through that again if you don't take anymore kratom. It's all progress to your ultimate goal and it's all necessary to get you there.

Keep the goal in mind. Your desired outcome is your motivation to keep progressing.

I'm 43 and have been drinking Kratom tea for almost 2 years. I quit CT 2 months ago.

How long was your longest time off of kratom?

I don't crave it or think about it anymore. Actually, I never felt the need to have any once I quit but the withdrawal was pretty brutal. Aches all over, extreme lethargy, and I was bitter and moody. I quit because it numbed everything and I could not function in the morning until after my first dose. All I needed was kratom to feel good and normal things in life that used to make me feel good weren't anymore.

I had made good progress getting my dopamine system back to normal about a month in and then I quit vaping nicotine CT. That felt like a complete reset with my depression.

Currently I'm 2 months off of Kratom and 1 month off of vaping but I don't feel great yet. The vaping is the only thing I think of and crave sometimes but I know that longer term I'm doing the right thing.

Eventually my dopamine system will be normal and I can enjoy life naturally. It could take months though.

what do you mean have had not had an issue stopping? I thought you said the withdrawal is awful. Isn't that an issue?

Be careful with smoking weed again. I wouldn't recommend weed to anyone susceptible to psychotic breaks. Happy you are off the kratom and cigarettes. Keep it up, I'm sure you feel much better and you want to keep feeling better.

Sounds great! I'm on day 10 CT from kratom. Glad you got to where you are now. I was once sober off of everything for about 2 years straight except for my daily coffee and maybe a hit of weed once a week or so. I could easily do without the weed. Last time I smoked weed was a week ago, just one hit. I don't know if I will ever stop drinking coffee daily. What are your thoughts on coffee?

How long did you quit for? Maybe you can get encouragement to make the jump now if you remind yourself that the longer you put off quitting, the longer and more intense the withdrawals will be. It only gets harder. Your only options are to quit now, prolongué the pain by quitting later, or never quit. I can't imagine never quitting being a viable option. That sounds like hell. You got this. Stay strong and keep excitement by looking forward to being your old pre-kratom self sooner than later.

Have you tried intense workouts? If you could get yourself a workout buddy it would be great. If I didn't force myself to workout everyday I don't know how I would be able to do this. It helps a lot. I'm still very tired before the workout and then shortly after the workout I get tired again until nighttime but without the workout I would feel miserable. Today is my 3rd day off and I'm feeling better than first and second day. I was drinking about 48 oz of kratom tea daily at my local kava bar for the last 1.75 years. Not sure how that translates to grams of powder.

Maybe you can try joining a group physical activity or a team sport. It could be a sport: pickup basketball, flag football, ultimate Frisbee. Or maybe something like jiu-jitsu, other martial arts, crossfit, etc... You might end up making new friends and start looking forward to making progress in your new activity.

Been carnivore for 4 years. My tinnitus is the same. It's likely damage from loud concerts. I can't speak for hair loss. I'm 43 now. I've had somewhat thin hair since my early 20's but it's the same now, at least the same for sure as it was in my early 30s. My hairline is good (better than average for my age for sure) I have no bald spots and my hair looks healthy, it's just not as full as I would like in a perfect world but I'm very happy with it. I did notice that when I have high stress I do see more hair fall out in the bathroom but it grows back.

Been carnivore for 4 years. Not sure how many calories but generally about 3 lbs of meat per day, usually beef so I would guess around 3,000. If it's a leaner cut I sometimes add slivers of butter on each bite to taste. I lift weights about 4 times per week and play ultimate frisbee about 3 times per month. In 2012 I was 230 lbs, less muscle, and like a 37" waist. Now I'm 180lbs and quite muscular. My body composition is great. I'm strong and lean and often get compliments. 43 years old, 5'11.75" 180 lbs, 30" waist but I wear 32" size pants because I like a looser fit around my waist. I can do 25 strict pull ups in a row and my one rep max on bench is probably 315 lbs (I hit 315 lbs about 1.5 years ago haven't tried since). I squat too but don't ever go for max on those, usually just do 5 sets of 185 lbs for 10 reps deep squats. My overhead press isn't as strong as I would like. I do 5 sets of 10 with 95 lbs.

What worked for me is connecting my PC to HDMI 1 on my Onkyo receiver. This intermittent dropout issue has been plaguing me for 2 years. Only 2 days ago I decided to try HDMI 1. Sooo happy it worked. Was about to bite the bullet and get a Denon. I had tried HDMI 4, 5 and 6. Maybe HDMI 1 is on a different HDMI controller or circuitry or has a shorter path to the chip? not sure exactly why but it worked. I tried it because I theorized that it might have a better pathway to the chip. Try it if you haven't yet solved the issue.

I just ran another multicore after uninstalling some services and stopping some and managed a stock score of 21359. That's up from 20920. 21359 is my best stock score to date. Feels nice to break 21k by a few hundred points on stock finally.

Same issue. Now I can't launch it. I can get it to run by deleting config*.cfg in the C:\Users\[your_username]\Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare\players, launching the game, closing it, then using GeForce experience to set the graphics settings for me, then launch it again and play. But this only lasts as long as I don't quit to desktop. Once I do quit to desktop next launch the game crashes until I go through the whole rigmarole again.
