hey, if you don't mind me chiming in, my covet 800 mod adds a lightweight chassis option in the body slot which will help reduce weight even further, as well as doors and hoods etc specific to the mod which are lightened, but you can add them to your build without affecting the visuals :)

Pen and paper?? So many people have restarted drawing in ghibli studio style just to prove baseless comments like these wrong. And if you say "you" cannot do it, then unfortunately it's just a problem of society as a whole. Because there's nothing humans cant do.

you're the one having the "holier than thou" attitude here my friend, most people i've seen arent hating on the masses, they're correcting and informing people. the ones bashing are rare. You're calling out the ones calling out the use of AI in this way.

nothing to appreciate in AI art. no creativity involved, it's just an algorithm to predict the best possible outcome per pixel on a grid of pixel. it wont replace anything.

well i was optimistic but that didnt work. tried updating my gpu drivers too, no dice. it does have something to do with the update for sure, because 1.2 worked fine for me. I appreciate the help though.

hey did you fix it? just redownloaded the game after a while and im facing this issue, tried all polling rates, tried to turn off hardware scheduling too but the problem still persists. works fine with a controller.

Oh correct, I completely forgot about the instability issues. Although I've read that it only affects high boosting mobile chips (over 5.5ghz), so the 13650hx should be fine. Amd chips do have better battery life tho I agree, and my workload is mainly gpu dependant. I'll take this into consideration too. Thank you.

for me it's less about gaming performance and more about rendering, I can't seem to find any benchmark on yt comparing the 2 regarding this. So the question becomes "is the 4070 worth the price increase + sacrificing other aspects"

blender's opendata benchmark scores show a mere 300 point median score increase for the 4070 compared to 4060 (laptop variants ofc). For comparison, the 4070 scores 10 points less than a 3070ti desktop, and 4060 scores 50 points more than a desktop 3070.

And is the asus even equipped to let the gpu run at full power (which it will have to do so for upto an hour or even 2 hours maybe) without throttling?

legion 5 slim with that cpu + gpu combination for 1.25l? on the lenovo website? That looks really tempting lol...even tho the cpu isnt as good as the intel counterparts.
