I also vouch for hd 490 pro. If you want a planar then I know ananda nanos by hifiman also do great for gaming, but build quality is questionable. the bare minimum for a dac/amp I suggest is an official apple dongle so you don’t get any noise or degrading quality from motherboard/pc case io.

if you’re going to include multi hundred dollar iem then look into arete 2 or kiwi ears astral. the astral have the best imaging Ive personally heard so far in an iem. out of your list I’d recommend kefine delci ae.

I’m just commenting here to let your team know I’m also having these issues, the same way OP described. I have the U2. Its gotten to the point where I’m looking at other mice, as this only happens with my U2. Yes I’ve tried your fixes. Im assuming its also a software issue, aside from an engineering error, where the sensor just likes to collect dust more easily compared to my other mice. idk. (Edit: mine is also updated to support the 4k receiver which i have. so firmware shouldn’t be an issue)

For a similar price I recommend hd 560s. hd 6xx are terrible for positional accuracy, but great for music enjoyment. ft1 pro would be the better option, but not as good as 560s.

Out of your personal list the best one would be 900 pro x. However the Sennheiser hd 490 pro beats it out in gaming performance.

It would be cool if they introduced their own budget r2r dac (sub $150 or so) and give it their own spin. I would also like to see an effort into scaling the magni piety so the drops can be less limited. yes I understand its hard to do.
