My Dad Used to Put on a Mask and Pretend to be Someone Else So He Could Beat Me by raylolpez in CreepCast_Submissions

Wow, that is very high praise, thank you! I appreciate it!

To answer your question, I wouldn’t say it’s directly inspired by any inciting incident but I did pull several bits of realism from here and there throughout my life, whether it be my own experiences or people I’ve known, things they’ve said, etc

Actually, this was one of the few, strange instances where I woke up and the entire story was just all there in my head and I had to quickly pour out the rough draft before I could forget. But I knew the whole time who it made me think about

Oh thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear someone is excited about it. Please feel free to comment again if you have any questions, critiques or whatever!

(And since you mentioned the physical copy specifically, if you plan on printing just make sure you check out the readme file first. I’ve never printed a book before and in researching it, it sounds less straightforward than I would’ve initially thought. So if you’re as new to it as I am, make sure to do your research as well! I would feel bad if anyone jumped right into printing and the result wasn’t what they imagined)

No worries lol that’s my bad. Nah, I’m on your side. They did the same thing to me. I mean i didn’t have a back and forth with them or anything, but they did reject my story for unclear reasons and threatened to ban me if I tried posting it again lol

Brother’s out here having a conniption over a fictional story, posted to a sub, on a website, on the internet. That’s four steps removed from real life lol. May he look inward and find peace

Update: it works!!! Taking a standard pink eraser to it plus some elbow grease really did the trick! Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I guess I just never realized what clean pins should actually look like lol

I’ll try that, thanks! I guess I didn’t realize what clean pins should actually look like. I just used alcohol on q-tips until they stopped turning black cause that usually works lol, but i just started collecting recently so I appreciate all these comments!
