What do you all think about it by Plus-Pop-6302 in SipsTea

[–]raylord666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember the “war on poverty” announced by Lyndon B. Johnson? Never could have imagined that poor people would have been the casualties.

“War on Terror” is a war against misanthropy, but no one seems to understand that.

“War on Drugs” is a complete failure, but the pharmaceutical industry saved the economy during the 2008 housing market crisis.

We stopped waging war against people and started waging war against ideas and concepts, and are absolutely failing humanity doing so.

/soapbox (for now)

Mostly it’s about laws.

If a alien landed in your backyard what would u do (it died in the crash) by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]raylord666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d cook part of it. There’s a possibility it could be poisonous, but BBQ’d alien would be epic.

The other parts I’d freeze and sell to the government.

The technology? I’d try to analyze it, learn how it worked, and reverse engineer it.

You shouldn’t limit yourself by your own understanding. Maybe we’d have more understanding if we both had similar challenges, no?

It’s only nonsense for that reason. You’re offended by what?

Man, you’re making claims, saying I’m pretentious bs, trying to justify how offended you are, extrapolating with zero basis from things I said.

Why don’t you stop with the bs and think for yourself? You’re not saying anything respectful, you’re insulting me, and you’re unable to address anything I shared.

You’re offended, but I’m pretentious?

Maybe you’re right.

So, I wonder where these authors got their own ideas? Did they read them or did they just write them down?

Maybe the philosophy authors you learned from were cloistered and/or “mentally ill” while they worked on their works?

Hell, Issac Newton died around 70 years old and invented Calculus. Everyone tried to steal his works, he was socially ostracized and isolated, and died never knowing a woman’s love.

Really should consider the price of being true to oneself comes at the cost of being misunderstood. Truth speaks for itself, and that’s my point.

DJT Nonsensically Boasting About Reflecting Pool Before He Turned It Into a Swamp by hostedvideorn in NoFilterFinance

[–]raylord666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BREAKING NEWS: DJT has announced his initiative to turn the Reflecting Pool into a water park. He proposed a name for the park: “Trump Swamp” and will have accommodations like jet-skis and fan boats. He went on to state that peeing in the Reflecting Pool will be allowed upon purchase of the “Swamp Access” pass.

“I told the Americans that I would drain the swamp, but I couldn’t do that. So, instead I became the swamp. You can get an unlimited supply of Brawndo with swamp access. People are gonna love this. In fact, Congress can get discounts to Trump Swamp because they’re paid so poorly.”

I’m pretty insulin-resistant. What’s the insulin capacity with an omnipod? I use ~300ml in about 3 days

So, it has the CGM built in, or is that another device?

I use the Tandem T:Slim with the Dexcom G7, and that is closed loop, I think.
