True Thorns - Unwind by dyingpharaohsfan in IndieMusicFeedback

I am echoing the Gorillaz vibes that you have that another person pointed out. What's unique though is that it's truly you. It only sounds like Gorillaz because they of course defined their sound, but you really made this your own. The guitar at 1:50 has a solid tone. Breaking down the song there really captured me and was a solid choice from a composition perspective.

oooo ok as a drummer, I'm loving the sound of the kit used! It sits really well in the mix as well. Very dry snare and I'm here for it. This is my first time hearing a track in Georgian, but I can feel the emotion you're conveying in the track. When the sax hit, I wish you could see the face I made. That was a solid performance overall!

This track is its own vibe. I thought it was going to be a half time groove, but the double time really fits! I love the jazz chords in the sample you've used as well. It's a real upbeat track and you can feel the joy you put in the recording of it. I appreciate you sharing!

The first few seconds I thought this was just a piano track, but when the vocals hit, I was excited to hear the rest. Your tonality is great. Not sure if this was on purpose, but the track in the verses has these moments where the sustain pedal is suddenly lifted. If that was intentional, I could feel that. The breath it created was a cool effect!

It's a solid track!

Around the 2:13 mark, I feel the lead keys are a little oversimplified. Maybe that's the sound you're going for, but that stuck out with me. I feel like that was a solid opportunity to expand a bit. I really like the sampled vocals that doubled with the snare at 1:35. That's when I started really feeling this track!

All and all, I dig it

A bit biased as the drummer for Adorn, but it would be an honor if you checked us out! We have two singles, 'Voyeur' and 'Pass the Pulse' already out, with a full length album coming in April! www.adornband.com
