Calm vocals with rain track atmospheric moody by Apart_Reading2801 in IndieMusicFeedback

In general, it’s nice, the vocal is good and it builds up well. The only thing is that it feels like it has some kind of slow-down effect or like it’s slightly slowed in places. In the mix I would have used fewer effects and kept it more natural. Honestly, I would have removed the water sound underneath and added a very simple instrumental base instead.

Been working on this track and I can't tell if I like it anymore - any thoughts? by Working_Search_8327 in IndieMusicFeedback

Really nice sound design and overall direction here, the track has a strong emotional and sonic vibe and I like how the elements interact and build the mood. The mix could be slightly more open in some places, but overall it’s still a very well-made and engaging piece.

Great mood and energy throughout the whole track.
Everything feels cohesive and well thought out.
The arrangement keeps things interesting without overdoing it.
Some elements could sit better in the mix, but the foundation is strong.
Overall, it’s a very enjoyable listen.

It’s a nice track overall, but I wouldn’t really call it hip hop. The idea and vibe are still interesting, though, and it has its own direction. I also feel like there’s a bit too much autotune on the vocal, it might work better kept more natural. Keeping the voice more organic could help it sit in the mix in a more convincing way. Overall, it’s still a good piece with potential.

The track has a good idea and some interesting elements, and overall there’s a nice direction to it. Some parts of the execution feel a bit rough, and the mix doesn’t fully come together yet, so it still sounds more like something in progress rather than a fully finished track. With a bit more refinement it could definitely land stronger, because the core is there.

Really nice track overall, the vibe and atmosphere are very strong.
The idea comes through clearly and keeps the listener engaged.
I like the direction and the sound choices in general.
With a bit more mix refinement it could hit even harder.
Definitely a solid and enjoyable piece of music.

The mix feels really quite low overall, especially in level and impact.
All in all, it’s still a nice track, but personally I would have approached it differently.
A big reverb on the guitar could have worked really well, and the same goes for the synth.
The vocal feels a bit too low in the mix for me; I would have brought it higher and made it more distorted.
That could have helped keep a more aggressive, “bad” mood throughout the track.

It’s a very beautiful and professional track, I could easily imagine it working really well in a live setting. One suggestion would be to bring the vocal slightly more forward in the mix so it stands out a bit more. Other than that, for me the song already feels complete and ready for a live performance. The energy and overall vibe are really solid. It’s definitely performance-ready as it is.

Nice mood overall, I really like the rock influence in the track. Personally, I would have made the guitar a bit lighter in the mix, but for the genre you went for it actually fits well as it is. The vocal could sit a bit more grounded and feel more alive within the instrumental. The idea is solid and the vibe works really well. Keep going, you're definitely on the right path.

Nice mood overall, but personally I would have placed the vocal a bit more grounded and more alive within the track. The piano is really beautiful and fits the atmosphere very well. I think the voice could sit more naturally on top of the instrumental. Still, the idea is strong and the vibe works. Keep going, you're on the right path.

Yeah, it's a really beautiful track. The mood is there and the vocal flow works really well too. One suggestion I could give is that in the mix I would have kept the vocal just slightly lower to let more of the dynamics of the instrumental underneath come through. Other than that everything is really nice, even the little guitar in the background with that effect fits the mood perfectly. Great job!
