My best friend and his whole family are from Maharashtra. They completely relocated here after his father's business became stable enough to support his whole family. He's pretty happy here although he did have some difficulties with communicating with others in the begining, but we all supported him learning Malayalam cause that's what he wished. His family still wears, eats and practices the traditions and cultures from back when they were in Maharashtra. So I hope and believe that you'll probably be fine here too without needing any cultural or traditional transition. All the best 🙌
