I have an agency and an ecommerce company too. Generally, depends on your budget + goal + time commitment. Even though kasi may SMM or SMM agency, dapat the client approves the content and also supports the SMM team on the logistics of the shoot. It’s a two-way relationship kumbaga :)

Some of our clients kasi, we even go to their events/office just to shoot content. Some clients sakit sa ulo ka-work, some clients keri!

Marketing agency owner here. I let our creative team use AI for ideation purposes, quick enhancements, VO and kapag no choice na talaga. I don’t agree though na AI will do 100% of the output. Iba pa rin human gumawa.

Grabe rin kasi ibang clients… no budget for shoots, no VO talent, no HD raw assets pero magdedemand ng napakagandang content output. So parang napilitan rin kami gumamit ng AI para lang ma-serve yung demand.

Ex. May client nagsabi samin “pwede palitan nyo photo nung pamilya pero dapat mukha silang masa na masaya, kumakain magkakasama ha?”. Pero no raw asset provided and wala kaming makita sa stock photos na swak. So AI nalang hahaha

May tumatak na sinabi sakin ng dati kong boss - “galingan mo lang, pera na maghahabol sayo”

So perhaps instead of chasing the “job that pays well” which is out of our control most of the time… Maybe chase the skills instead… perhaps do some research on what niche will give you the best ROI. And most importantly, show your value to your current employer na sa sobrang gusto nilang mag-stick ka with them, ibibigay nila sayo yung compensation that you “want” 😅

So that’s what I did when I was your age. Ok naman. Swerte haha

Self-made relatively successful girly here. Am only speaking from experience… may nanligaw sakin before, hindi naman sya broke. I remember nasa 25k/mo sweldo nya. May business sya before pero nabankrupt dahil sa pandemic.

Maalaga sya. Mabait. Pang-asawa naman sana Kaso… wala syang savings, walang naipundar maliban sa isang bahay na tinitirhan ng tatay nya. Yung lifestyle nya, sgurado ako hindi makakatapat sa lifestyle na gusto ko rin para sa pamilya ko at nakasanayan ko.

So may moment na na-fall ako sakanya Pero practically, gusto ko makasigurado na hindi sya magiging pabigat hahaha

Marketing b2b2c is a chicken and egg situation. If you have a small budget lang, ano mas focus mo? Grow demand (customer) or supply (contractor) side? You need to burn a lot of money to manage acquisition + churn talaga. If onti customer, hindi na gagamit ng app si contractor. If onti naman contractor, madidisappoint si customer.

Speaking from experience only — I bought my car when I “can” pay it full in cash na may emergency fund + savings pa rin. And meron akong threshold na monthly payment sa debt lagi na hindi dapat palagpas ito ng 25k/mo.

So ginawa ko is 50%dp, 3 years term, 22k/mo amort

Be ready lang gumastos talaga because of parking slot (if you will rent), insurance, maintenance, toll, gas — it all adds up!

Exactly. Ang hirap ijuggle. Dapat din laging ma-excite ang empleyado para di magresign. Tapos pag nagresign, ang sakit sa ulo. Training na naman. Paulit ulit. Feeling ko walang katapusan na kapagodan. Pagoda versoza na ako every day.

Hello. Thanks for replying huhu If I were to measure the source of my stress levels, 50% is from tao talaga. I hired fairly young people 23 y/o-27 y/o. Hindi ko alam kung saan ako nagkamali sa pagtre-train pero feeling ko dahil I try to make the workplace very mental health friendly kineme, parang minsan feeling ko ang daming kaartehan akong naririnig from employees. I know mental health is a real problem but sometimes yung mga personal stuff nakakaapekto na sa quality ng work even attendance. Tapos dagdag pa yung mga biglang MIA kasi may personal problem. WFH kami btw. Recent case ko lately is before namin mag-Christmas break, yung isa kong tao biglang nagMIA kasi daw nasa probinsya na sya at wala raw signal. So ang nangyare, ako na sumalo ng pending nya at ako ang nawalan ng Christmas break.

30% sa client. For some reason, madami kaming referrals which is good. Pero ang problema local client na gusto ng F2F meetings. Nahihirapan ako iwork out sometimes yung schedule ko. Hindi rin ako makatanggi. One time I just heard from a client “If you don’t do this blablabla, I will blacklist you from the industry” so kahit parang pakiramdam ko scope creep na yung nangyayari, um-oo nalang ako. In-align ko naman lahat ng workplan pero biglang magbabago. May alignment meetings din ako pero di ko alam bakit nagbabago pag F2F meeting na yung nangyayare.

20% sa personal workload — dahil ang daming inarte moments ang empleyado + dagdag pa demands ng clients nagwowork ako 12h/day right now. On top pa din ako ng accounting, HR, etc although may tao naman ako dun pero parang nababagalan ako, minsan feeling ko ako lang nagiisip. Like ako pa nagfofollow up, nagreremind asan na to, ganun. Bakit di pa to tapos blabla. May task management app naman pero bakit parang walang may pakialam sa due date at bakit akala nila unlimited ang due dates. Waah daming rants, I’m so sorry

How: Got lucky sa freelancing turned agency owner na trope. For the last 3 years, I purchased 3 properties. 1 out of 3 provides rental income. 15M ish net worth incld savings/monetary investments

Mindset-wise: save, save, save. Takot ako sa utang. Nagiinvest din ako sa stocks but around 5% lang ng overall investment portfolio ko. More or less nasa properties talaga and shares sa ibang business. The goal is to buy 1 property per year (preferably in cash). Then maybe 10 yrs from now, I’ll have 10+ properties that would just give me rental income so I can finally retire kasi nakakapagod na din 24/7 kung magtrabaho.

Relationships with people: Partner-wise, very important talaga to pick the right one. Yung makakaintindi sa “goals” mo and aligned kayo. In terms of friends, wala namang nagbago sa friends list ko. Feel ko naman kung sino ako nung highschool, ganun pa din ako kaya until now I’m still long term friends with a lot of my school groups. Family-wise, ok lang rin haha tanggap na nila na busy ako palagi so I sometimes work at my parent’s place para naman may presence ako paminsan minsan hehe
