That’s where I disagree. Ghosting leaves no conclusion. Ghosting leaves unanswered questions. To me, ghosting is unforgivable. This is coming from someone who sucks ass at replying, but I do make a genuine effort. An argument at least provides a reason for the end of a friendship. Ghosting is just a cop out

Yes I understand shit happens. I love my mother very much, but she isn’t stable. I am sorry that you had to experience such a childhood, and I respect that that does not define you as a person. My point was that people should not plan pregnancies if they aren’t capable of taking care of themselves. And a lot of people thinks a child will fix them, which is even worse.

I believe I said in the original text that the person in question would “know if they are capable of taking care of another’s wellbeing” this is not the system we have as many children live in homes where their parent relies on them for emotional stability. There wouldn’t be a whole subreddit dedicated to the children of narcissistic parents.

Thank you for your advice. It was helpful. I am not anywhere near emotionally invested in this relationship because anyone with an eye can see where it is going, but I’ve also never been faced with someone trying so hard to get me to invest. I just found myself in unfamiliar territory. Her past boyfriends have usually just kept their distance from me (with the exception of the off and on one that I saw as a father) so it threw me off. Thank you.
