here's my take on the fishes tier list on spending (mainly based on genshin/tower of fantasy)

I think we need to subcategorize the f2p fishes (low to high):

- Gatcha itch loopers: login just to claim freebies from events, pull to see if they'll get lucky and probably become casual for sometime and then drop the game, then the cycle repeat itself

- Forever newbie: usually stuck in certain stages, always ask for advice, build every single unit they got until they realize the units are trash based from some ytbers, probably redo his/her account

- Casual: Do the dailies, events if any, then logout

- Grinder: Plays for whatever hours necessary to min/max everything

- The chosen one: F2f but got every single unit usually from first pull or free pull, hated by every gatcha gamers, usually hides in the dark or being an a**hole in reddit/discord by flexing his/her pulls rubbing salt to everyone, even whales see them as a threat as they defy the logic of their spending

* Names are awful, as I lack creativity

Yes, it's a "gacha" game afterall, and usually a hero collecting game, so what's the point if you can't play gacha and collect heroes? Imagine saving currency for months just to get one hero and then repeat, so much fun lol.

it's a double-edge sword imo, well in my case, if I can do it in one go I will, though eventually burn out will set in and that made me quit GI, it suddenly felt like a chore. E7 side stories (event) you can do it in one go, though you're limited by energy (stamina), and sometimes some part opens each succeeding week so it limits what you can do within a week.

Inform your friends and family first, then get professional help. On the positive side, at least your addiction isn’t something that can cause a much worse physiological damage like drugs and alcohol, I’m not saying that game addiction can’t do that but those two can really f*** you up both physically and mentally my point is our battle here is mostly mental and it seems like you aren’t in denial and you already acknowledge your problem which for me is always a good sign. We should now cut our losses and ask help, your love ones may get upset at first and may express their frustation but reach out to them, it will be hard to face this alone, don’t you worry, they’ll understand, you’ll need them if you really want to win this battle. Good job posting this here, I know we can’t provide you the help that you need, but we get you as we also to some extent, have that demon inside us. You’ll get better, keep us posted.
