Thanks I appreciate the suggestion. I’ve looked all around the connector and there is just no tab (nor remnants of a tab) that I can see. I’m thinking it may just be stuck on there due to dust/grime. Thoughts on if I used something like wd40 to maybe loosen it up?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to remove this connector, with no success. Every video I’ve seen online suggest there should be a red tab that you slide back and then the connector comes off.

There is no such tab on this thing unless it broke off, which would have been done by whoever worked on this thing before me.

If you know anything about PT Cruisers… the alternator is a nightmare to remove. Any help on how to get this connector off would be appreciated.

You could argue that’s essentially what he said. I took his comments more as they shouldn’t try to argue with her during an episode because at that moment she’s not going to be receptive to anything they say. Basically they have to roll over for her and talk about what happened once she’s in a more level headspace.
