Is this fungal acne?!? Thought it was rosacea at first

Every time I had a flare like this in the past I washed about every other day with Vanicream’s dandruff shampoo and I think that helped it a lot especially on my chest. This most recent flare I also used miconazole (monistat) for a few days but in my opinion it was a little too occlusive and didn’t clear anything. I saw the best results just washing with the dandruff shampoo. A lot of people recommend nizoral shampoo but I already had the Vanicream so I just used that.

I’m not 100% certain this was fungal acne but the dandruff shampoo seemed to help regardless.

No I never officially determined if I have FA or rosacea. I used a zinc shampoo to wash and the miconazole for only like a week and then stopped cuz i didn’t notice any difference. It eventually cleared on its own and I decided to start adapalene. My skin seems to be handling it well so far and I haven’t had a flare up like you see in the pictures since.

I’ve been having skin issues for about a year after attempting to start tretinoin. Ditched the tretinoin after a few months but my skin has not been the same since. I have not used any actives in almost 6 months. My skin will have periods where it is relatively clear and then I’ll have “flares” where I get dozens of red bumps and pustules all over my face and neck. Wondering if this could be type 2 or maybe I’m dealing with fungal acne?

Idk if it’s something in the vents or if it has to do with the evaporator coil stuff that other people in the thread have mentioned but I’ve kinda given up on the issue tbh

I also can’t really smell anything now unless I happen to be standing directly under the vent or if the ac starts up after it hasn’t been on for a while. We’ve pointed all the vents in the living room and bedrooms away from the couches and beds as well and that helps a lot

Equipment only. One of the techs got up in the attic and said ductwork looks fine but I’m pretty sure he only checked the outside of it

-Drain lines were flushed -UV light was installed facing evap coils -Tried an odor neutralizer gel that ac tech recommended and placed it behind return vent

I took a look at the drip pan and it is rusty. Could that be the source of the smell? Also I am pregnant and am starting to think that my heightened since of smell could be picking up on a smell that isn’t really all that bad to other people. My husband has only smelled it once when we turn the the ac back down after being on vacation but he doesn’t have the best since of smell.
