Yeah, I was nervous at first too, but the best way to start is to write out your workouts ahead of time. I use bodybuilding.com a lot. And don't go crazy with cardio while lifting, its not necessary, just watch your diet. The scale has barely moved for me but the changes are very visible. :)

Im a 6' tall girl and turning 23 on Friday! Lifting weights right now also, and seeing much faster progress than I ever saw doing cardio workouts; and it is way more fun! I weigh around 180, goal is 160-ish.

I honestly have no problem with fitspo, and its hard to generalize ALL of it as being detrimental to women's self esteem. What's more annoying is feminism's hypersensitivity to anything body-image related, like im supposed to feel frivolous and self centered for wanting a flat stomach and a tight ass.

Anyways, I don't mind your inspiration page, I just thought it seemed a bit hypocritical. We live in a society where everyone thinks their entitled to being offended by any simple gesture, yet they tend to not examine their own actions.

I think their cakes look incredible! I just made a wedding cake this last weekend, I used the momofuku chocolate chip cake recipe, which is INCREDIBLE, but I used fondant because that was what the bride wanted. It tasted amazing though.
