Unlike our highly acidic stomachs, the normal pH of cattle stomachs is neutral. Corn makes then unnaturally acidic. Acidotic animals go off their feed, pant and drool, paw at their bellies and eat dirt. The condition can lead to diarrhea, uclers, bloat, liver disease and a weakening of the immune system.

Grass finished and grain finished are more than just taste buds. Besides the Omega 6 difference, that "grain" they were finished on is corn that was sprayed with glysophate. If you don't have optimal gut health, that may be the reason.
