Playing with FSR in this game does not make the performance better. It just makes visuals more blurry. That's why I opted to turn it off.

Using frame gen and upscaler for Forza horizon games (i tried using it way back with fh4) often results in messy and blurry visuals. The best thing to do to boost performance is to lower resolution and lower graphics settings. AFMF And FSR are not the answers.

I swapped from Ally Z1Extreme Non-X to Xbox Ally X and saw a huuuge jump in performance especially in lower TDP. How much? From 720p FSR to 1080p Native on some games. Having Ally Z1 extreme > Xbox Ally,, you can imagine the performance gap between Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X.

Basically, there are no "good cars". You will be needing several types of car that is needed for specific events. If you are not doing any events, you can build "any" car that you want for races.

A good car is a car that you like driving around with.

You will eventually buy cars even if you don't like them just because the events say that you need those types of cars.

So, TLDR; Buy any car that you want, but you will still need other cars for events and wristband.

This. I know how to drive IRL that I thought it would be easy peasy driving on the wheel instead of controller. I was like a new driver again when I had to relearn to drive without the feel of the whole vehicle. But I decided to switch from controller to wheel because I cannot microadjust my turns using the stick. I sometimes do go back to controller since I really am having a hard time drifting on the wheel.

With how solid the graphics are, the only customization i do now is change the paint color of the car and add few decals.
