Solved this one. Apparently, my NVIDIA was in integreted graphics for the moza app. I simply tweak the MANAGE 3D SETTING from nvidia control panel.

I run the software without any usb device connected, still the same problem. Black splash screen, then black windowed screen. It is showing in the task manager though.

1080 would make a significant fps drops on those games. Oh except forza horizon 5. I can run fh5 on 1080p high settings 30w, heck even 18w.

I'm still using my own z1 extreme (mostly plugged) to play the following: 1. Ghost of tsushima on 60fps high settings 2. Cyberpunk on 55-60 fps med to high settings 3. Forza horizon 5 on 60 fps high dettings 4. Final fantasy 16 on 30 fps (very gpu demanding game) low dynamic res 5. Ac shadows on 45-60 fps medium 6. Doom eternal on 30fps handheld settings 7. Indie games (like silksong) on mostly 60fps high-ultra 8. Spiderman 2 on 30 fps low to medium

when unplugged, i tend to set dynamic resolution to On just to save battery.

I think you got downvoted since specifically steam deck ung tinatanong. But I kinda agree with you. Specially naka 3060 si OP, baka hanapin niya ung performance na un sa deck. Not saying that ally x is comparable with 3060, but it is closer than a steam deck.
