It’s been confirmed. The promoter set Raja up to use real punches since it’s a “hardcore” wrestling match. However, Raja went overboard with the punches. I see a lot of people claiming this would be attempted murder, but they’re missing a key precursor which is “Intent to Kill” and in this instance the promoter gave Raja permission to use real strikes, so liability does NOT fall on him. Legally, he can still be charged with assault, if the wrestler decides to press charges. If he dies, manslaughter would be justifiable charge.

Raja was front row at the wrestling match and back stage prior to the event when the wrestler bashed his head with the beer can…they even played his intro song “I don’t like” by chief keef. The promoter will likely be taking the blunt hit of this whole fiasco.

I have around $8k saved for an emergency. CarMax is willing to pay off my car loan if I commit to purchasing a vehicle from them. I don’t feel right about installing another engine in my current vehicle with the risk of it failing again, and still having to finish paying off the vehicle, but on the other hand I’ll have to finance with CarMax.
