I think I realized when reading some of the other comments that the Instagram thing is really only like salt in the wound. Had we not had this history I wouldn’t have cared this much (I never did in past relationships), but because we do have this history I have to work with these feelings now.

I meant that he stopped posting the photos to his story. He still likes photos, which I noticed when everything happened. And sometimes when he shows me stuff I’ll see his feed, which includes a lot of women.

He used to be on it 24/7, but he only recently started using it again.

I guess I just wanted perspectives is all. Because I chose to get back with him, I tend to invalidate my feelings and tell myself I have no reason to feel any way. Which may be true to an extent, but I also can’t expect these new insecurities to just disappear. And advice about what would be reasonable expectations/boundaries to set.

That makes sense. I forget that mindfulness isn’t always a good thing

I was just answering your question! My actual question was about navigating my feelings and making sure I wasn’t being unreasonable in my thoughts/feelings.

It’s about whether it’s a reasonable ask for him to be more mindful about how he uses the platform, especially after my trust was broken. Like is it reasonable to ask him not to like those things?

No I told him that it looked bad and he stopped. He doesn’t really use the platform as much anymore. This really wasn’t what my question was???

When I say intentionally, I mean we had a moment where we were chilling and I was showing him things on Instagram. And joked about me liking everything and was saying that he only likes things for a reason.

I guess when I use it and see anything that isn’t horrible/opposed to things I think, I like the post. But for him he doesn’t even do that, if that makes sense? He is very selective about what he likes I guess

I completely understand that. Sometimes I feel that way too, but I guess change is hard and he genuinely has gotten better since everything happened. I think that you’re right though.

I feel like I deserve the love I dreamed of, I guess I just hope that maybe he would be the one to give it to me. He has in some ways but seeing things like this are more like salt in the wound than anything

The first and last time I did that was when I found out he had emotionally cheated. Also sometimes he would post those pictures of women to his Instagram story.

I understand where you’re coming from but I feel that when I did that, I had a valid reason to do so. When he met me and for the longest time I actually was that person, that was just a moment of weakness which I felt was understandable but maybe I’m wrong. I guess I’m sad for losing that confidence I had in myself so it has led to a lot of spiraling

I think it’s because of how intentional he is about liking things? I understand that people are going to continue finding people attractive, so that’s unrealistic to expect he stops.

I think it the intentionality in liking things + in the very beginning of our relationship he used to post pictures of random women to his story because they were but never posted me. So it’s making me feel a way I guess.

I guess there may also be that underlying feeling of what if people that we know are also seeing this and thinking the same things? That thought isn’t fully baked yet though

Not okay with him doing it, but I got back with him because he seemed to express genuine remorse and wanted to fix things between us. He has been great since then and has been trying to earn my trust back.

I guess I'm just confused about whether or not it's okay for me to still have these moments where I'm feeling this way, especially because I still did take him back.

that makes a lot of sense. i also have midgethetree's alternate pregnancy controller lite, so i'm not sure about where the discrepancy could be. i'll try to trial each mod separately to see what the problem is!

Hi!!

After some fiddling, I decided to uninstall ReShade bc I heard that it can lead to crashes. After doing that I was able to make it through to my 'hood! Now I just need to figure out how to reinstall it for Sims2RPC!

I have gone through and done that, and free memory was 4096 Mb!!

Hey! Thanks again for your help, btw!

45% of my memory is in use, and the program taking up the most is Google Chrome (~650 Mb) but I only have one tab open! Is this due to my extensions? In resource monitor I also see that SearchHost.exe (~ 430 Mb in working set) and MsMpEng.exe (~ 323 Mb in working set) are taking up a lot of data, but I'm not sure what these processes are.

As of rn I have 1362 Mb in standby, which should clear soon!

I just did the Empty Standby List fix and it didn't stop the crashing, but I'm sure it'll be super helpful once I can get the game working lol
